    OMG spoilers.

    • Haha right, I think someone in their web team was feeling a bit lazy and didn't want to have to update the T&Cs passage each time a new offer was revealed

      • +11

They probably need 900 to sign off every time anything changes on the public sites and just did the proverbial F.It.

OR… work with me on this one… it's a reward for reading the T&C's to encourage more of us to do it.

        … f it.

      • Smarter dev would just have the appropriate conditions added automatically on a time basis.

        • but where's the fun in that!

          • @cucumber: A lot more fun than making an edit every day, that's for sure :D

Looking forward to the DJs one when it kicks in; made good use of it last year 😏

Also did you know you can earn points via iTunes? (One of the two Apples listed)

      Go on…

It's 10 points per dollar through Qantas mall now.

      • I cannot see this on their site and sounds a little excessive?

        • From the Qantas Online Mall page:

Double Qantas Points (10 points instead of the usual 5 points per AU$1 spent) will be earned for purchases on the David Jones online store in Australia only made through the Online Mall between 12.01am Thursday 1 November 2018 (AEDT) to 11.59pm Monday 24 December 2018 (AEDT) and David Jones.

      • I don't have QFF

With 10k velocity points I can feel vaguely less bad about shelling out $1700 for a 6 core mac mini!

    • -3

What can you do with 10 k points?

      • +6

Flight from Sydney to Brisbane is 8k points just as example since your search engine must be down.

    • I bought a MacBook Pro during the last points promo :) eStore recognises both the regular Apple store and the education store - I bought the MBP with the edu discount and still received the points.

Wish there was an Ebay bonus one. Since they changed to 1 point per $ I have been using the Qantas portal.

  • +2

Same - except I switched to the ANZ portal
ANZ works out to 1.95 velocity points per dollar if transferred to velocity during 30% bonus

They say this, but I don't think they can tell what you buy. DJs says they won't pay out on Chanel or Dior, but I've been paid out on them …

    • +1

      The T&C have been updated:
-Effective 5 November 2018, orders of iPhone XR are eligible for rewards.

FYI StrawberryNet offer dodgy fake skincare and cosmetics from Asia that could be harmful to your skin, as basically who knows what's in it. Confirmed by my beautician, as they were warned by their supplier.

    • +2

It's grey market. Mostly legit, occasionally dodgy. I've been shopping with them since 2004 and only had one dodgy purchase in that time - the beautician industry just doesn't want to be undercut.

      • I made my 58th purchase with SN yesterday because of this deal. Never had fake products. There’s been a couple of delivery mishaps but SN have refunded the total amount very quickly. Discount codes cancel out the haircare surcharge and GST so still works out ahead.

    • +6

Let me guess: the beautician sold something else from the supplier that warned against buying something else cheaper.

Also the cosmetics industry talking about dodgy people is adorable.

    • +1

Confirmed by my beautician, as they were warned by their supplier.

Of course they'd say that. Protecting their bottom line.

  • Apple 23 November – 26 November 6 Points per $1 spent

Nice, pity I need to order something sooner than 23rd Nov.
