iPhone 7 for $959. Maybe not the BEST deals in the land…

    • +3

You can find a new 128GB AU stock for $853? Where? Don't forget to reduce the price by 11%.

      • You’re a legend mate but I would expect an iPhone 8 for around that price…

        • +4

lol, all good. You'd need to question Apple about expected pricing. I only post the deals, and I think that's the best price you'll find right now.

          • +11

@tightarse: All good mate. Keep in mind mobilciti’s regular price re the iphone u mentioned is $40 above buying directly from Apple. ($959 vs $919)

So not quite ‘the best in the land’ or even compared to Apple’s notoriously non discounted regular price.

OMG having a argument re deals with TA, what am I thinking. David Vs Goliath…

          • +1

@tightarse: Ta can you negotiate with apple.lol

If anyone has a chance it must be you.

            • @gimli: Why, because he has a tight arse?

      • +4

Do you have any Xr 128gb in stock?

  • Latest iPhones are not discounted is that correct? Phones that are discounted have 11% off label on the pic.

  • Website is going beserk on me, I can't seem to check the cost Samsung phones.

    • +3

Still need help? I can check the prices for you if you like!

  • All iphone xs 256gb sold out when I was about to click Pay :(

  • TA. Can you top it with 11% CashRewards!!

That will make it extra sweet.

    • +4

As much as I'd love to, Mobileciti has made it clear prior to posting this deal that Cashback will not apply with use of this coupon (SINGLESDAY). That's why we specifically have this on site for Mobileciti:

Use of coupons not specifically listed on Cashrewards will invalidate Cashback.

Hey any recommendations for a phone for my Dad? He is currently using an iPhone 4, but is prepared to go with android. He would like a smaller screen (maybe 5-5.5" at most) and the price under $500?

    • +1

the nokia ones are great. nokia 5.1 plus. nokia 7.1. stock android, easy to use, decent camera, amazing build quality

    • +2

Recommending an Android device for a long time apple user who's not 'supposedly' tech savvy is a big mistake. I did that couple of times thinking I was being helpful but they were frustrated by the experience (kept looking for the 'used to' stuff). Now whenever I'm asked, I'll carefully determine how tech savvy the person is before giving any recommendation. Rule of thumb, if the person is too old, too young or too naive, apple is best suited (don't get me wrong, I didn't mean anything offensive here. Apple is straight forward so that the simplest person on earth could understand. Android is not so much.)

    • Well you might be able to get a Galaxy S8 for $600 soon which is a very good phone

  • +1

Why doesn't Mobileciti stock the Samsung S8+ anymore?

  • +3

Pulling the trigger on a g7, thanks op. $663 express post

    • I have been waiting for v40.
And why don't they even sell g7+? $663 would have been the price to get g7+.

      • What you mean

        • You do know there is a g7+ version right?

          • @justwii: I just looked it up. so you reckon you can find that model for this price?

            • +1

@Budju: No, I can't, thats why I was asking why they don't sell g7+ LOL.
They sell g7 at $745 (black) and $799 (blue), while g7+ on some other site is $797. IF they sell g7+ and apply the 11% off plus price difference on colour variant, then it could have been the same $663 to get g7+. Thats what I meant.

              • @justwii: I don't get the logic that if you can find the phone for $797 it should then be $663 with 11% voucher. 11% off $797 is $709.33. I probably would have shelled out an extra $46.33 for the extra 2gb of ram and 64gb of space though, so I guess you raise a valid issue. In any case, it doesn't look like anyone is selling the G7+ for $663, and if $797 is the best you can find, then $663 for the G7 is the better purchase.

    still waiting for xr…

  • Looking at getting a Samsung S9+. Is there any difference between Vodafone vs Telstra branding? There are pricing differences between the 2 but can't tell any difference spec wise. These are all unlocked so I assume they would work on whatever sim you put in. Tried googling but couldn't find an answer. Can anyone advise?

    • +1

Exactly the same except software wise, you might get slightly quicker updates with Vodafone, sometimes even Telstra are a day or two early (not often though).

Highly recommend buying whichever you want, but flashing Australian Retail firmware ("XSA") onto it. My Optus branded S8 has had Aussie Retail firmware since day one, all is running well. It's also Samsung official so warranty is still in tact, KNOX in tact and direct OTA updates as usual.

  • i would of grabbed the Sony WH-1000XM3 at around the $350 mark

    • I dont know how legit it is, but this site has them for $370

    • i would of

      Would have.

Welcome back Scab! How was your stint in jail?

        • +3

MathNerd was in the next cell, he was in pain and counting in inches.

      • Scab are you from coffs?

        • No, why?

  • +4

Just got the iPhone XS 64 in space grey (not gold but oh well). This is a great deal! Can’t go wrong with 11% off a new phone. Thank you to mobileciti and TA for setting this up!

    • Yeah not bad for about $1440

  • Whats a good phone for under 250?

    • xiaomi note 5

    • Mi A2

  • Can anyone recommend me a phone? Wanting to replace Moto G4 plus. Only replacing because the charging port has shit itself. Second Motorola to do this so not very keen on the Motorola anymore

    • price?

      • $400-500

        • +3

nokia 7 plus. price beat eglobalcentral at offficeworks for ~$395

  • Does Officeworks price match with these guys?

    • They don't match prices where a coupon is used.

  • -3

Wtf.. They have jacked up their prices now.. Its no more 1440

    • What exactly are you referring to? Nothing has been jacked.

      • My mistake.. I got confused xs with xs Max… Anyway that too is sold out.. No more iPhone XS available… Thanks anyway TA😊

  • Are these guys reliable? I'm hesitant buying from these sites? But really want to get the Galaxy S9+

    • +1

Very reliable imo. Bought from them plenty of times.

      • Ok before I pull the trigger is there any catch? I'm looking specifically at the S9+. Seems like a really good price.

        • What are your concerns specifically? Mobileciti only sell Australia stock so you'll get 24 month Australian warranty. You'll get invoice so you can claim TRS if travelling overseas within 60 days.

          • @IceCreamBandit: Not sure, just want to make sure it's all okay before making the decision quickly. But it's looking good. Might have to go for it I think! Thanks.

            • +1

@Bazzaaa: get note 9 for around 1000 at officeworks by price beating online shops, excluding becextech. you'll get headphones and fortnite skin that you can sell for around 200 and 50

              • @follow: Considered this but I think the note9 will be too big for me. Thanks anyway.

            • @Bazzaaa: Was about too purchase one myself but then I noticed that their ebay store, Allphones, has a slighty better deal which brings price down to about $998 (as long as you don't mind a blue or purple version). Have now bought off the ebay store instead.

    • Yes reliable. Purchase multiple phones from them per week for work.

  • Hows the TRS thing work? i just googled and it said if it's on anything over $900 you have to pay it back entering australia again anyway.

    • Minus 20% deprecation if you use it. and if you travel with others you can combine the limits together

    • The rule applies when the claimant, bring it back to Australia. I try to make sure it is not with me when I am back from the same trip ;P. Also, the A$900 limit is for one person, so if you are travelling in a family, there is some leeway…

    • +1

Lol..are you serious or joking? Discard the box once you claim the TRS

      • Discard the box? You dont even need to bring the box. I was wearing the very watch i claimed trs on.

        • Yup..me too..just for the ultra cautious..

    • I don’t think anyone ticks that box. They don’t check and calculate how much the things your bring back are the same as you claimed. My sister even insisted on paying back the GST on her ring and customs guy told her to go away lol

      • +1

Should have done a fry from futurama and gone. Shutup and take my money.

  • im going overseas for 10 days. I just presumed if you fill in paperwork for it at the airport to get the refund…they'd straight out ask you about it as you return.

    • They dont ask all the time but if you get caught its the risk you take.

  • Thanks - got an Alcantara Samsung Case for my Note 8 :D

  • Sold out of iPhone Xs 64gb models unfortunately. Great deal though!

  • Why no blackberry love :(

  • I am going out of Australia in the next 30-40 days for a few weeks. Can I claim GST for the purchase I do online in mobileciti (obviously $300+)?

    • You certainly can. Just make sure if you are a lone traveller that you are legally allowed to only bring back $900 worth of goods back that you claimed trs on.

      • Great . ! Thanks.
