Seems niche, 24 inch QHD, bit small for the pixels, but i assume its intended for work with a need for high pixel density

Yep it has CAD and animation modes which will benefit from high density

I anticipated this point would be brought up. 27" is kind of the standard for this resolution and I won't argue its a good size:resolution ratio.

I like 24" because I can take in all the information on the screen in one glance. Which is something I have picked up from esports. I also found when I was using dual 27"s for work that I was experiencing more strain when looking between them edge to edge.

I also spend a considerable amount of time zoomed in on projects in adobe and CAD and the extra pixels keep things sharp.

Personally I have no problems with my 24" 1440p gaming monitor. But I am also a 20 something with perfect eye sight.

Not recommended for gaming sure, but with 5ms gtg and 60hz would it be that bad if you only wanted 1 monitor, needed something like this for productivity (photos, video etc), and happened to do a bit of gaming on it also?

    • I havent personally gamed on this monitor so I can't comment from experience. But 5ms gtg wouldnt be good for fast paced games. And I imagine it having poor input lag also.

The panel is designed for colour accuracy and given the price tag corners will need to be cut somewhere. I am sure you could game on it and it would be ok for light use. But I couldnt recommend it.

I wouldnt recommend a 24" for your only monitor either. I'd go for a 27" at least for single display setups.

I currently game on a benq eyecare 24in, its probably no faster. That being said i'm not playing fast paced games like online shooters.

    • I game on a mixed-use IPS panel (a Viewsonic) and it's fine. I don't have lightning reflexes or a PC capable of pushing >60fps @ 1440p, so I'm happy with it.

I've had this monitor for a while and use it as my primary display. I game on it often and have had no issues with ghosting, although I really only play single player games like fallout, ark, no man's sky etc. Obviously if you're into games that require high refresh rates then this is not what you're looking for.
