Hi all. Cashrewards will be celebrating OzBargain's 12th birthday by hosting a co-sponsored meetup on Wednesday Nov 28 from 5PM to 7:30PM. We're throwing this open to 60 OzBargainers who have been members for at least 6 months. If we go above this number in the poll, all names will go into a draw and 60 will be selected.

RSVP is mandatory. Please don't commit if you don't intend to come as you may hold up someone else's spot. Simply click your intention in the poll below. Closer to the date, I will PM all successful attendees with a code which you need to present at the door to receive your name badge (please ensure your PM is turned on).

Come dressed as yourself, or come dressed in camouflage. The choice is entirely up to you. We will however have a prize for whoever is deemed best 'party' dressed in true OzBargain spirit. I know what I'll be doing lol. We'll have plenty on, including food, drinks, prizes, surprises, and a showcase of the office and our team. You'll see first hand just what an incredible bunch of people we have on board. We'll also have our very own Scotty blowing out 12 candles on an OzB Birthday cake.

Looking forward to seeing you all there. Should be a smashing event. As I always say, thanks for the support and enjoy :)

EDIT: There's a possibility the event will be live-streamed, but we'll make a final call on that closer to the date.

Open to OzB members with an account of 6 months or older.

      Lots of delays, the train may not be the one you are expecting. Luckily almost all trains from CBD stop at Chatswood.

    Congrats to OzB on 12 strong years and wishing even better for the future. From my little experience with similar deal platforms in the US and UK, OzB is clearly one of the best platforms (and more importantly the community) internationally. Way to go..

    Superb night hosted by cashrewards, thanks to all staff for their formidable hospitality and fantastic birthday party!
    Had heaps of fun, the staff are genuinely some of the most down to earth people, i hope their business can grow and become as big as possible :)
    Hope to see you guys again.
    And shout out to happiness officer for the fantastic planning, i think she truly deserves a promotion to chief/vice happiness officer, thanks Lorica (hope i got the spelling right).

        Absolutely agree, as I told Andrew, I think there is a big misconception about how cash back websites work and there is a lot of room for educating the general public.

        I will also reiterate what I told him here in the public forum, I'd rather an Aussie company win the cash back war than a foreign one (shopback is originally from Singapore and they are massive in Asia… They can absorb a lot of loss to gain market share, which we've seen they do by matching every cashrewards offer).

        But you cannot fault their hospitality tonight, everyone from developer, ceo, coo Was there making sure everyone has a nice time :)
        They were having conversations and listening to feedback, they have a lot of improvements in the pipeline, it really is a shame to see some people here doing the name calling and finger pointing… People have to remember their business model is based around repeat customers, there is very little incentive for them to "steal" your cash back, if you don't get it if means they are not getting it!

        I've personally haven't had an order not track… I've mentioned the steps to ensure it gets tracked here a couple of times, too keep it short best way is to:
        Incognito, login website you want to buy, login cashrewards, go to website from cashrewards, find item and purchase without going to any other web page. Always works, $1 or $1000…
        I encourage any one who thinks cashrewards is a fraud to have a pm conversion with TA and they'll be surprised what a nice guy he is and what he represents.

    I'm sure everyone that attended will agree the evening was a huge success. A special thank you for the effort in getting here in spite of the incredibly ridiculous weather. Clear even flew in from Tasmania for the event and finally made it after stacks of delays - dedication plus!

    Totally blown away to finally meet you all in person. It's so good to be able to put names to faces and it makes posting and commenting in deals all the more enjoyable. forumninja even gave away his Amex secret to success lol, which goes with me to the grave. infraredshell won best dressed with a whacky Eneloop jacket, and Scrooge McDuck tied with an insane pair of pants & matching shoes. cwongtech, simply one of the nicest guys I've had the pleasure to meet - could have chatted with him for hours. That's taking nothing away from anyone - you're all legends!

    A shout-out again to Wireless-1, Mobileciti, JW Computers, Woolworths, Scotty, and Clear for some awesome prizes and giveaways. I'm sure most of you went away very happy indeed! Also a massive thank you to Lorica (Andrew's wife) for putting the entire gig together - from food, drinks, cake, prizes, cash pong, cleanup etc.

    We hope to do this again next year, even bigger and better. Take care all :)

      3 1/2 hour flight delay, near aborted landing, luggage delay, accommodation screw up, 1 hour train delay….. and I still made it. All that effort and flying half way across the country was worth the chance of meeting you, Scotty and everyone else. I love this community too much.

      Oh and my bus broke down today. Someone really doesnt want me to be in Sydney!
