  • The coverage is awful on Vodafone if you're traveling around Australia! It's also still patchy in some inner city areas.

Check out coverage (and not just on their website) before you hop on board.

very subjective comment - I've found it better than Optus and I travel a lot in regional and metro areas. In fact in some metro areas its even better than Telstra for data speeds

      • I agree, and have found that all the networks have locations where reception is limited or non-existent.
Vodafone suits us, where we spend much of our time, better than Telstra or Optus.

        • Yeah, I had issues with Optus but no issues with Vodafone. Agree with digitaline,

      • Absolutely agree. I could barely get a signal when I stepped inside a train carriage with Optus. Vodafone will drop in and out but for the most part I'm not disconnected for the 2 hours a day I travel at least.

      • agree too, vodafone used to be like he said, but has improved so much since it started. and the $5 roaming is great too.

    20,000 QFF, earn rate valuation @ $200~250.
For $60/m contract with 80gb data? Only a good deal if you NEED that much data.
Happily sticking with VDF Student $25/m with 4gb and prepaid sims.

Sure, but if you're getting a plan/sim anyway, may as well grab the points!
