Maybe first time poster can't change the link and this is the reason they always ask the rest of the ozbargain comunity to go easy on them.

  • pity it isnt a AMD e-350 not that it really matters

What the hell? My comment is negged because I pointed out the deal is from a Kiwi website?

    • I + you to make up at least one spot, just another 4 people needed

  • Any other good deals for super sat? Is there a catalogue out?

  • +1

Just be careful out there in HN. Gerry is bound to have plenty of rip off price accessories. Say no to extended warranties at massive mark ups. It is reported that a four year extended warranty costs Gerry approximately 6% of the selling price. Therefore on a $394 computer the extra four year warranty cost Gerry $23.64. Refuse to pay massive ups on warranties, surge boards, leads etc. It is on the relatively lower dollar amounts that Gerry has banked his billions. Compare prices on the internet before purchasing.

  • is this a good deal?

  • Where is the deal here? All I see is a link to some miscelanious web site and Nother About the Harvey Norman super saturday sale. If it actually exists. Please post proof.

  • I just saw an ad on TV for this deal. Personally I wouldn't bother with an AMD. People aren't that familiar with their notebook CPUs, so resale will be worse than an Intel. You can get a Celeron notebook for the same price. Or a Pentium dual core with dedicated graphics for another 80 bucks ($479).

    • Resale on this thing?? Jesus, I've never heard anyone considering resale when buying a laptop… Is there a market I have no idea about?

      • Sometimes when I'm going overseas I want to buy a laptop to use while travelling. When I return, I have no use for it so I just sell it. It's a factor to consider, for me, at least.
