      • +1

I believe other store can also match that price. Just be patient!

        • Only them selling xs max at the moment. Very hard to tell

make sure you all read his negative feedback before making a purchase on ebay.

    • I purchased today. Delivery expected tomorrow.
      Will let you know

      • +3

make sure you check the storage of the phone, any sign of used, and the imei number of the phone should match the one on the box.also the warranty period on apple website as well.

    • 5147 ratings that have been 99% positive …

      • +3

you might want to click on the negative feedback to see about iphones in particular.

I remember when $1,000 used to be a lot for a phone.

    • -2

      And your point is what?

There are people who alive today who remember a time when the internet didn't exist.

Thanks but I'd rather be alive now with $1,000 phones and the internet.

        It was an observation.

But if you want me to make a point, it's been driven by the market leaders like Apple and Samsung when highly competitive options exist from the likes of OnePlus at the $600 mark. When you're seeing a product inflate to over three times the price with roughly matching specs, to me at least, that's insanity.

        • "Thumbs up" and my junior at work today complaining how "broke" she is. Renting at Eastern suburb of Sydney, spend cir $12 a day on coffee, and $100-150 hair cut.

I wonder how the some people in AU will cope with the next economic downturn, falling house prices and increase unemployment. Just saying.

You can buy a Nokia 3310 for under 100 if you really want which would make your option of spending 600 dollars on a OnePlus insanity. Your observation rests on a fallacy. If people want to buy an expensive cellphone then who are you to tell them how to spend their money? How does it effect you personally? Are you triggered by someone spending money they earned on something they value? I brought an Xs at a 20% discount but I'm don't go into a rage when I see some with a 2.5k XS max because life's too short for this.

          • +2

@Icecold5000: You're the one that seems triggered. RedSky didn't say anything about how others spend their money.

As for fallacy, you're comparing a low end Nokia to a flagship phone from OnePlus that was frequently compared to the iPhone X.

            • -3

@griftr: Nope. I don’t care about what other people buy because it doesn’t effect my life.

  • The seller seems to have a little too much negative feedback for wrongly packed boxes with lower capacity phones in them…

Be careful. I recently learnt an important lesson that if something goes wrong the return process is a headache:
    - You are up for the return postage costs (roughly: Express parcel satchel $12 + Signature on delivery $2.95 + Extra insurance (unless you trust Aus Post with nearly $2000) $40 = Total $55)
    - Refund can take ages to clear if the seller does not have enough money on their Paypal balance; Paypal will wait until funds clear from their bank account. My refund took over a week for money to come through.
    - eBay take 48hrs to respond to any cases.

Experience left a sour taste, and i'll be avoiding any big purchases through eBay unless it's a bigbox retailer like Goodguys.

Also, I'd recommend putting your IMEI/Serial into https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ to make sure the product is what is sold to you and has all the valid warranties.

  • I've purchased a 512gb iPhone XS. Looking forward to receiving it. Will report back after I get it!

  • Already bought from this seller. Xs max 512gb. Fast service but communication is too slow.

    • So is it genuine Australian version? How was your overall experience buying from this seller?
