Get 1000 Bonus Flybuys Points When You Spend $50+ @ Coles (Stackable with Any Targeted Offers)

I just got this offer on the receipt from my shop and also saw this offer displayed instore (so not a targeted offer). As my receipt is not a flybuys scanned one, I think it is a generic same barcode (can be confirmed by others here soon). It may not look like a great percentage rebate, but you can stack with any targeted offers you are with this week. I think any receipts from today till Tuesday will have this offer on them. However, you certainly do not want to know about it after you already finish your shop.

So essentially, it is free 1000 bonus points for someone is doing 4 weeks shop in Coles now. You can even plan to use it from the coming Monday for 2nd week shop.

This offer is available for instore shop only. The barcode and your flybuys card need to be scanned together with a transaction over $50. 1000 bonus points is once only per flybuys card.

    Yeah got this today too.
Will stack it with a 4400 bonus points offer as well as the 4 weeks for 10,000 offer. Getting close to a 40% rebate

    • yeah, similar..10k for 4x$70 spend and 2.8k for $70. this on top…nice discounts coles

    • Probably, you will not get offers like 4400 points for the following 3 weeks. So the average discount for the offer period will be closer to 20%

    • How exactly do you stack multiple offers? Do you just activate all of them and then scan your card when you check out?

      • +7

You started with the question and ended with the answer :)

      • I activate multiple offer on flybuy app and scan my card at self checkout. Always get rewards associated will all offers and naver faced any problem.

  • i got an eamil 2000 points for $60 spend

    • +1

It will stack with your targeted offer. You just need to know it beforehand and scan it with the eligible transaction, not after you spend $60.

It's so much more pleasant shopping at Coles than woolies, and with these offers, it's a no brainer in my area.
    Thanks OP

  • Only online and not in store?

    • In store only.

      Excludes Coles Online

      • Where to enter the coupon code then?

        • +3

Scan the barcode at the checkout, just like you would a flybuys card.

          • +1

@headphonejack: My picture contains a liquorland barcode so be careful. I would recommend anyone to use a proper mobile APP like Stocard. Or even Google Pay can generate this barcode.

  • Nice, thanks.
Took a photo of it, will see how it goes.

This is kind of random targeted offer. You can't just scan this barcode. You need to buy something first, then if you have this offer it will print on the receipt and you can get this offer on your next transaction.

The barcode is generic but the offer is linked to your account. Don't even bother to scan it if you don't have this offer generated on your receipt today. You won't get the bonus points.

The way to know for sure is buy sth small value $1 and check your receipt. If nothing is printed means you don't have this offer.

Not correct this time. My receipt has no flybuys scanned. Did you notice the top words on the picture? I intentionally cut the picture from these words.

      • You've got the point, usually there is no docket offer printed if it is linked to Flybuys. I also don't see this offer in FB apps after I have it on my receipt.

    • +1

I got this coupon on a receipt from this weekend. The barcode number is the same as the OP's. So I'd say it's safe to use without getting your FB account flagged.

      • I also got one with the same code.

  • Did you take a photo of the offer display in-store?

    • +3

I could have taken a photo. But I have the similar concern (it can also be store specific) like samehaha raised above, so at that point I have not decided to post it as a deal here. After I went home, thought about it and reckon this offer is open to anyone.

  • To be honest, I found wollies cheaper today

    • I agree. I’ve ordered hundreds of dollars of woolies items with evouchers, 4% Cashback using multiple accounts, and the free 3 month shipping. I’ve saved hundreds of dollars and have a stash of nonperishable items stored away. I feel like shopping is sometimes WORK! Lol

  • +1

Worked for me , thanks !

  • I'll give it a go.
Been having 'fun' making the most of these flybuys offers.
Last week (finishes this Sunday) was the first week of a 4x $60 10,000 point promo, which they offered 1800 extra for $50 or more, plus collected an extra 500 bonus from FlyBuy mag coupon, 850 from my coffee pods that I stock up on, and this week they've offered 2400 for $70 or more.

After this 4 weeks it might be a while till another offer.
Thanks, I'll definitely give this a go, will have the shopping to do anyway so nothing lost by trying.

Just checked my flybuys account, there is a 2400 points for $60 purchase offer. It's crazy to combine this offer, this bar code, and the 4 weeks of $50 purchase offer together.

    • +1

Sad. I made the mistake of buying like $100 of stuff one week, and so now my offers are 4 weeks of $80. And it's pushing it or me to spend $50 x 4 weeks in a row on groceries. The $80 offer is useless to me :\ Time to recycle and get a new card I guess. I haven't had an offer I've been able to actually meet in months.

      • I suggest you get at least one more flybuys accounts, totally separate, so that if you do want to spend more one week do it over 2 or mare cards. This will also help when there are gift cards offers only available once per account.

        • You can't use the same household address for a second card though?

          • -1

@serpserpserp: I have 6 separate accounts with the same address and have received all points from promotions on all of them. After all it could be a boarding/share house. I have even used the same credit card on purchases but avoid doing that now in case they track it. Maybe they do not care as long as we keep spending.

            • @Yola: Same name on all accounts as well?

I guess if you don't build up heaps of points you'll be alright.

              • @serpserpserp: No,names of different family members. Different emails. You could actually use different addresses if you did not mind not having the permanent flybuys card but use the plastic temporary ones they have at Coles or print paper temporary card. You also would not receive the paper coupons they sometimes send out.
I do not build up lots of points because I think the items you can purchase with them are not good value. I use them to get $ off shopping at Coles. 90% of my points come from bonuses.

                • @Yola: I use flybuys a lot but my spends are so big every week I barely get deals below $180 (currently $210) so I think I need to give it a rest awhile.

                  • @serpserpserp: @serpserpserp: Or get more accounts. Each account will get different offers based on your spend using that accounts flybuys card.

      • Does it mean that if you spend that $100, now means you no longer get the promo $60 across 4 weeks to get $50?
I didnt know it changes with the amount you spend?

        • +1

They want you to spend 'a little bit more than normal' if you normally spend $100 a week they're not going to give you a promo to spend $50 a week. It's not an exact science, but over time I noticed the offers I got creep up after I had a few bigger shops.

  • but i'm not doing my shopping till Wednesday!!!!!! booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • +1

Silly me, I didn't realise you should scroll down the screenshot to get the right code.

I scanned the wrong one which is for Liquorland. There goes 1000 points, wasted.

Could OP make a remark to remind other users to scroll down the screenshot please? Or it could just be me..

    • +1

Picture updated. Better way to scan mentioned above.

    • +1

Ring flybuys, tell them you had this barcode and forgot to scan it. They are pretty good.

      • Will do that on Monday, thanks!

  • +2

Here is the barcode image or you can just create it under Flybuys in Stocard app.
    https://barcode.tec-it.com/barcode.ashx?data=9310645911656&c…

    • Thanks for that

  • +3

I couldn’t scan the barcode off my phone but it was easy enough to type the barcode numbers in the self checkout machines.

    • +1

Use the flybuys card scanner next time.

  • +1

OK, points kicked in, so I can confirm that it works. You will get 1000 points + whatever bonus offer you received.

  • Thanks OP. Used it today. Hopefully points will arrive tomorrow.

  • Stacked this with a 'spend $30 get 1000pts' targeted offer yesterday and the points came through today, thanks OP!

  • I never get any of these offers probably because I almost always shop at Coles… Fare enough.. Won't shop in Coles again.

    • Not really. I shop at Coles multiple times a week for years and get offers all the time.

  • I tried scanning the barcode and utilising the deal on my 2nd shop but have not received any bonus points?

    • you need to check back the next day evening ~9pm.

  • +1

Went the safe route and just bought a $1 item before hand just in case deal was tied to a flybuys account. Mine came through today. Stacked with 2000 points for $60 shop. Easy 3000 points.

  • Was at coles carindale just now. Worst experience ever. They dont hv most of the discounted labels! Most of the labels show original price. I had to rely on coles app n catalogue to find which items on discount . It significantly made the shopping a lot slower, and in the end… I forgotten to scan this offer, coz already too tired. I only scanned my flybuys point for 2000 point offer/$60 spend. Grrrr

    • +2

That's what always happen on a Tuesday evening. End of the sale cycle.

    • If incorrect prices are scanned you should get the item for free.
