If using it on an Android, the .apk file from their website has more features/ability than the one on Google Play due to Google's restrictions. I've been using their .apk for the past 12 months (apart from when it's turned off for CR and SB), and AdGuard has blocked 26.36GB/1,200,373 packets of data on my phone, so I've found it very worthwhile.

    this can block more ads than ublock. I have seen website that ublock can’t block ads but adguad can. Adblock plus can’t block ads system wide.

    The main benefit of this over similar free browser addons is that it runs outside the browser so is able to filter ads in not only browsers, but in other applications (e.g. Spotify). The other benefit is that it works across different browsers - so if you need to use IE, Chrome, Firefox etc. you will get the same experience across them without having to find and install separate browser addons.

  It can block ads system wide even in apps. Have a look at the comparison on their website. I’ve used it for over a year and it works really well.
