Yes, that is the issue , bought few when it reached 200

        • +1

I know a great way to bring the average cost per unit down… :D

    • I can remember when $200 was the mark for the 500GB evo 850. I bought one then and I have just have to jump on this deal. Thanks OP!

  • weird that FUTUONLINE is advertising this cashback on ebay but is not listed as one of the stores, if it is 20% would bring it down to AU $207.20, from that we take $45
we would get it from 162.

Futu online will invoice as KS

      • +1

Great, so that will bring it to $162

I bought it from Shopping Express ebay store https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-860-EVO-250GB-500GB-1TB-…

      $249 - 20% using eBay code = $199.20
      199.2 - $45 cashback = $155.2
I paid using 10% discounted eBay gift cards from a previous deal so total cost is around $135

      • I bought it from SE ebay store too
Do you have any clue how to claim for the cashback?
Seems SE is not part of the participate store?

      • Yeah not sure why you wouldn't do this instead, save that $20 bruh.

      • +1

        Thanks so much for this.

This just kill any reason to buy non Samsung SSD.

    • Pretty much.

      • There's also Samsung QVO the budget line of EVO coming for QLC NAND. Let's hope for <$100 for 1TB.

Need an enclosure to use it with your PS4

Not correct, you can install it into a PS4. XBOX is the one that must be external.

    • Yes, I have one in there now.

  • Can anyone recommend a good external enclosure to connect it to my Xbox One?

You get these for like $155 with shopping express after cash back.

It just makes no sense to upvote this when SE got it cheaper.

    • Cheaper by $30 when you include discounted ebay gift cards too! :D

      • When with the gift cards it's legit like $145

        • +1

Yup :D. I couldn't resist that price :'). And now my wallet is a bit empty :| ;)

          • +1

@GTG: I just pulled the trigger on $145.

            • @Budju: Nice :D. Still can't believe we are able to buy 1TB SSD for less than $150! SSD prices are going down down!!! Good bye HDDs :(.

              • @GTG: I have legit bought about 6 SSDs in the last two months lol
