Is "shopping-express-clearance" on ebay the same as Shopping Express for the purposes of this?

    • Yes, their Shallothead account is also the same as Shopping Express.

      • Nice. Only $144 after combining with 5% off giftcards.

      • They run Futu too. These guys are dominating the market.

  • +2

PS4 Pro is getting a 1TB 860 EVO. Thanks OP!

  • I can't see the actual form on the Samsung promo page?

    • It says:

For all claim submissions, email us at [email protected] or call 1800 900 730

So you might have to currently just contact them to process it, they might be fixing the registration button.

      • Thanks. Will wait out for a button, if not will email.

  • +2

So can anyone confirm that the link below is eligable for cashback? If so I am definitely getting one $85 for 500gb.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-860-EVO-500GB-2-5-7mm-SA…

Holding off until I get a confident response though.

    EDIT: Spelling.

    • Yeah I’m the same. Cancelled my 500GB I ordered last night from Futu and wanted to get the 1TB drive but not worth it without the cashback applying.

Edit: actually just realised as doweyy said in another comment, if you scroll down to the product description it has a picture of the cashback promo for the deal you linked.

      • For some reason, that doesn't fill me with confidence.

        • +1

Well the Samsung site does link to their Shopping Express website which has the ABN 65 146 078 319 which is the same one you’ll receive from the shopping-express-clearance eBay store (have ordered off them previously from that eBay store and that was the ABN from the invoice).

I’ve sent them a message on eBay asking them to confirm.

          • @Nousernamehere: please let us know when you get a response. I'm keen for the 1tb EVo 970 though and they seem to be out of stock. Might still get the 500gb

            • +2

@witsa: Yep no worries, will definitely reply here when I hear from them.

But considering their site is linked from the Samsung page, I’d be 95% confident it’s all good. If not, then you definitely have something to complain to Samsung about if they deny the claim (although with these cashbacks it’s pretty much always at their discretion anyway).

              • @Nousernamehere: It looks like the Cashback advertisement is displayed in the description section of the listing in the link and other listings on their eBay Store.

                EDIT: Formatting.

            • +14

@witsa: Ok got a reply from SE

Thank you for the email. Yes, we are participating in the Samsung cashback promotion. A copy of the tax invoice will be sent to your email address once the parcel is dispatched from our warehouse. Please use our tax invoice and K.S computer ABN number as shown on Samsung promotion page for the claim.

              Kind regards
              Grace

              So all systems go!

              • +1

@Nousernamehere: Thanks for following this one up mate. Just bought the 500gb 860 Evo. Will keep everyone updated on the cashback as well.

                • @tcoates: Just completed the Cashback form. The section that states "Proof of Purchase Number" I included my invoice number. The form also says to use the serial number on the product, not just on the box - Both S/N's are the same in case you purchased the item as a gift or didn't want to open the box yet. Hope that helps someone!

                  • +1

@tcoates: the serial numbewrs are mostly the same but the one on the actual product had an extra letter, hope pople dont get screwed over for it.

              • +2

@Nousernamehere: Thank you heaps for following this up to get 100% confirmation!

      • All the things I have been shipped from 'Futu' have arrived with a 'Shopping Express' Tax Invoice.

        • My stuff from futu has arrived with a kai seng computer (k.s computer) invoice. (From an October purchase.)

However the ABN on that invoice doesn't match the one listed by Samsung for k.s computer.

I did however redeem a black ops 4 code from that purchase where k.s was listed as a participating store.

If futu are advertising their products as being eligible I would probably trust them

        • All the things I have been shipped from 'Futu' have arrived with a Kai Seng Computer Solution Pty Ltd Invoice, which clearly lists futu online as the store.

  • Any link for the cheapest 2TB 860 EVO? Apparently, SE is out of stock at the moment.

  • $639 for 2TB Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 SSD - MZ-V7E2T0BW
    https://www.umart.com.au/Samsung-970-EVO-Series-2TB-M-2-2280…

    less $167 Samsung cashback

    net price $472

looks like I will be pulling the trigger for a 1tb when there is confirmation :)

    • Same here…..waiting, waiting

  • Would prefer the NVME speed in the GB range instead of the old SSD type speed in the MB range

    • +1

      3500MB/sec = 3.5GB/sec

      • +1

Any good price NVME/M.2 860 EVO 1TB found?

  • Ordered 2.5 hours ago and instantly got order confirmation from eBay, but so far nothing from Shopping Express OR PayPal…

  • +1

Redemption form seems to be up and working now on the Samsung site. However, requires product serial number/Photo as well as 'Proof of Purchase' to complete it so will have to wait on delivery.

So has anyone successfully got their cash back purchasing from Shopping Express on Ebay? Please let me know how it goes!

  • +1

Futu advertising cashback on their listings, despite not being included in Samsung's list. Pretty dishonest.

I know they're associated with/owned by the same group as Shopping Express but the Futu invoice has a seperate ABN and store name, neither of which are on Sammy's list. I'm guessing Futu is just re-using the SE listing but it's sloppy.

    • My last purchase from futu in October arrived with a kai Seng (k.s computer) invoice. If they are advertising that they are eligible I would probably trust it. But then I think s.e are cheaper so the question is then why buy from them

      • All of my Futu orders have invoices that say Kai Seng for the business name but Futu is the prominent store name on the invoice, and the ABN listed is different to SE listed on Samsung and in this thread. As the cashback is administered by Samsung (and no SE/Futu), none of the Futu details appearing on Samsung's approved list is enough of a concern for me.

Futu is cheaper for those without eBay plus.

        • Fair enough, I did note that the listed ABN on my last invoice doesn't match that of the one listed by Samsung. Seeing as I've just signed up for my EbayPlus trial I will contact Samsung to confirm that I am eligible before opening the box. If not I'll send it back with free return shipping.

    • Maybe they will use the SE ABN? Like how SEclearance is using the same ABN

  • Ah for f#$%^@$%
Bought 2x2TB 970 evos from them 2 weeks ago and they are still in their box.

Realized it's not only SE but all other regular sellers as well. Even more f$%^&$%^@#$%.

  • can anyone confirm if 'shopping express clearance' is participating in the cash back ? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-860-EVO-250GB-500GB-1TB-… . Thank you so much OP !

edit : even though the product description suggests its a participant, I am still sceptical. Futu online also has the promotion in their product description despite not even being listed on the official Samsung website as a participating re seller…

  • Cheers OP! Bought 1 500gb evo 860 for me and another for parents under seperate account as it appears to be 1 product type per claimant.

    • oops, I just purchased 2 under 1 transaction. can I claim 2 times?

      • If its the same product then most likely not, but if its different products then up to 3 per household.

  • +2

So until now, from previous comment we get confirmation that buying from here works:
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-860-EVO-250GB-500GB-1TB-…

    Also with 20% off, we have 1TB = $199.20
    After 1% cashback, we have 1TB = $197.208
After SS cashback, we have 1TB = $152.208

Here Samsung SSD cashback event: https://www.samsung.com/au/offer/ssd-cashback/

  • Is anyone selling the 2tb 860 Evo for a fair price? Would rather have one drive.

  • hi, anyone know how many SSD can we claim cashback from Samsung?
I mean, if I bought 2X970 evo, 1X860 evo, I can only claim one, or claim 3 cashbacks?
    thanks

  • Order still hasn't shipped.

  • Thanks OP. 1 TB is real good price and I feel bad buying 500 GB few months ago and little more money can buy me 1 TB today. Will be building my new gaming rig soon and wondering if NVME M.2 should be a good choice.

  • Has any one received email confirmation(tax invoice) from Shopping Express? I have only received email from eBay and Paypal

Samsung SSD cashback requires following three proofs. #1 for now and #2 and 3# can be provided later .

    1)original tax invoice
    2) Serial # of SSD
3)Photo of Serial # of SSD

    Link: https://www.samsung.com/au/offer/ssd-cashback/

    • +1

The tax invoice is sent via email once the item is shipped. Shipments being on weekdays, not weekends

    • Nope.

    • +6

I received my 'Shipped' email today, but no invoice yet. Interested to see if others have gotten theirs yet too.

EDIT: I received my invoice via email about 30 mins later in my SPAM folder by 'Ebay-shopping express'. Be sure to check your SPAM folder as well.

Will let you know when I have successfully done the Cashback.

      • Thanks, almost missed it. Check your spam folders guys.

        • Just completed the Cashback form. The section that states "Proof of Purchase Number" I included my invoice number. The form also says to use the serial number on the product, not just on the box - Both S/N's are the same in case you purchased the item as a gift or didn't want to open the box yet. Hope that helps someone!

      • I also found it in the spam folder! Thanks!

      • Found my invoice in Spam folder too! (gmail)

  • Hopefully Samsung does not delay cashback this time

  • Finally ordered a 2TB 860 EVO SATA drive I've been wanting to get for a while!

Computer Alliance eBay have them for $529, less 10% 'POUNCE' makes for $476.10, less another 5% using PayPal gift cards gets it to $452.30, less $125 cash back and it's $327.30! Take a few more dollars off for Cashrewards and double Flybuys points via eBay Plus, and I reckon I'm looking at around $320.

I'm pretty happy with that (though it'll be interesting to see what they cost in a year's time).

  • pulled the trigger too early. Bought a 1tb on the 21/11 for $199 :-(

    • You might still be eligible for the cash back depending on the date of invoice.

  • M.2 out of stock :(

  • Shipped & tax invoice sent.

    • Was wondering where mine was, ended up in spam folder! I also have the abn ending in 319??

  • Confirming that shopping express clearance (eBay) invoice has been received and ABN matches that on the Samsung cashback site.

    • Mine doesn't: 65 146 078 319

      • Its weird cos the link to Shopping Express from the Samsung promo page (which quotes ABN 59 074 527 763) takes you to the website which has the same ABN I quoted:
        …Shopping Express Pty Ltd (ABN: 65 146 078 319)…
        https://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/view/terms-and-conditions

      • +4

Same abn doesn’t match but I’ll just do what the rep said earlier - reference KS ABN and attach SE invoice to the claim

      • Yup, I have the same ABN, let's see what others have to say, we can't redeem until we receive the ssd anyways.

      • Same hear 65 146 078 319, will reference KS ABN and attach SE invoice to the claim. Let's find out how it goes.

      • Oh god, I stuffed up, I referenced this comment rather than the one above. You are right, ABN does not match but let's just do what the rep said earlier as per ominae's comment below.

  • I got the email saying that my SSD was shipped but how do I get the shopping express invoice?

    • +4

      Check your spam email folder.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but for anyone still holding out the code PRIZER goes live at 10am today (29th Nov).

So, by 10am I'm hoping the discounts from shopping-express-clearance look like this:

    860 EVO 2TB $599.00
    PRIZER code 20% off -$119.80
    Stores extra 10% off -$59.90
    Samsung cashback -$125.00
    TOTAL $294.30
    860 EVO 1TB $249.00
    PRIZER code 20% off -$49.80
    Stores extra 10% off -$24.90
    Samsung cashback -$45.00
    TOTAL $129.30
    860 EVO 500GB $149.00
    PRIZER code 20% off -$29.80
    Stores extra 10% off -$14.90
    Samsung cashback -$15.00
    TOTAL $89.30
    • +1

The PRIZER code would be applied after the 10% store discount. So the totals should be slightly higher. Regardless, these would be a great deal if they don't pull the 10% off discount by the time the 20% code goes live!

      • +1

Ah thanks mate, I missed that. Fingers crossed that they don't pull the code!

I can't edit my post so here are the updated totals:

        2TB $599.00 $306.28
        1TB $249.00 $134.28
        500GB $149.00 $92.28

        • Unfortunately they pulled the code… Only the 20% discount applies, as per OP's original post.

So one last time, here are the totals (excluding postage):

          2TB $599.00 $354.20
          1TB $249.00 $154.20
          500GB $149.00 $104.20

Definitely not as amazing as it could have been, but great prices nevertheless. Pretty sure this is the cheapest ever for the 1TB and 2TB SSDs.

    • +1

Looks like its just the 20% off with PRIZER now. 10% store discount not appearing.

  • Anyone here used Ebay gift cards for the purchase? I didn't receive a tax invoice after using gift cards - Not sure if I could claim a cashback this way

    • +1

I used gift cards and received the invoice. Did you check your spam folder? The email was from [email protected]

      • It was in the spam folder indeed! Thank you very much.

        • +1

          Happy to help.

  • I bought 2 from shopping express but came with no tax invoice. Sent message to their eBay account. 24hrs later still no reply…

    • +1

Be sure to check your Spam folder. The Tax Invoice comes from the Email Address: [email protected]

      • Alright got them. They were in spam but came from shoppingexpress domain.

  • +1

Hi guys, I was just filling out the redeem form, Shopping Express is already listed there with the ABN 65 146 078 319 on the Samsung Page which is mentioned in our invoice. Do I still use K.S Computer Technology or SE? Also, proof of purchase number is the invoice number right? Thanks!

    • +2

I would recommend using the company that matches whatever ABN is shown on your Tax Invoice. K.S. Computer Technology ABN is 59 074 527 763. You'd be better off using SE as your seller. And yes, you're correct the proof of purchase is your Tax Invoice. I'm also still waiting on my cashback to be approved.

    • +2

As tcoates said, just use Shopping Express’ ABN as they’re now selectable through the cashback site. When the deal was first posted they weren’t listed (apart from the link to their website from the KS Computer Technology ABN), and when you go to the next page after filling in all the details you’re given the T&C’s of the cashback and they still only have the original resellers in that list (they obviously haven’t updated them as they’re doing it on the fly).

But they do accept the Shopping Express ABN as they’re on the list of authorised resellers now so no problems there.

  • I lodged 2 cash back to to Samsung already, when do we expect to the refund?

    • Read the confirmation email (up to 15 business days for application to be reviewed)…

  • +2

Got an email stating my cashback has been approved and funds are on their way within 28 days. 500gb via shopping express ebay

  • The 970 250gb is $10, typo in the OP.

  • Anyone bought 2 1TB drives? Even though I have 2 invoices under two different names its one product per address is that right?

Each claimant may claim up to one Eligible Claim per Participating Product purchased
only and each Eligible Claimant is entitled to receive up to a maximum of three Gifts per
    household.

  • My claim just got rejected as my purchase was deemed to be a company purchase. I was getting the SSD to be shipped to my work address hence I put the company name in the address field when checkout on ebay, shopping express invoice shows it on both billing and delivery address. Anyone getting the same reject reason as me?

    • Today I got this, not sure if the same reason, it's pretty vague, but I did send it at my work address:

Unfortunately your claim has been deemed invalid as the copy of the original tax invoice of the Participating Product provided does not match your Online Claim Form. As a result you are not eligible to receive a cash back.

I followed up by email and waiting to hear back.
