Why can’t it just be 100% and make everyone’s lives easier

      • That's what the competitions section is for on OzBargain I guess ? :P

Got mine today. Came with all the international adaptors. Aus included :)

    • Me too! Planning on shucking?

      • +1

For now I'm just going to use this to move my data around from my other HDD's. It's a bit like Tetris, but when I'm done I might shuck it. How about you ?

        • I would like to, but knowing my luck a week after shucking and it'll break :|

          • @lachhelix: Fair call. HDD's are so reliable on the whole these days it would be very bad luck to have it fail. I haven't plugged mine in yet, but am hoping to start transferring files onto it on the weekend.

Just shucked mine - ST6000DM003 inside which is a Barracuda Compute (SMR)

    • Do you think you'd be able to get it back together in case of a warranty claim or is the casing pretty screwed?

      • +1

Maybe if you were really careful but it's pretty hard not to break the little clips when you pull the casing apart. I wouldn't try it if you are worried about warranty
