  • I think I've tried the dark chocolate and sea salt version. It was hard to keep mixed. I wasn't a huge fan by the end. However I'll give the crunchy chunks a go.

    • It was hard to keep mixed

That's what happens when there's no emulsifier added.

  • I've tried this, personal opinion. Taste wise it's better than Mayvers (Not the dark roast), I like that it's more nuttier but the biggest downside is that I feel it's a bit drier than Mayvers. Harder to mix, might be easier during the summer though. Thanks op!

    • Edit. never mind was confusing this with another brand

I really like the Mayver's Dark Roast - do any other brands do dark roasts?

    $10 for a 1.8kg jar at Costco… hmmmm…

    • 1.8kg jar of purely nutz peanut butter? I'm struggling to imagine how big it is but at the equivalent of $2.08 a standard jar, I'm keen. Is it their chunky or smooth variety, or both? I didn't see it last time I was there.

      • Different brand

Pretty sure it's Skippy which is not 100% nuts. I'm pretty sure it contains sugar and salt and other things

      • That’s correct

Cinnamon and Honey …. YUM !!

    • This sounds amazing.

  • How does “no added salt” and “dark chocolate and sea salt” work?

    • I would assume it applies to the crunchy chunks version. The other two are definitely not 100% peanut

These are good… Verry good. Tried last time at 1/2 price. Like a month or two ago.

How often do they run these promo?

  • Tried those, very good, but I somehow got it for $2.50 last time, 1/2 price.

Eitherway, I still question how they can make money from $3.25 / jar

400 Grams of salted peanutes are ~ $4.00

    • Because they buy in bulk / direct saving costs

    • Peanuts cost peanuts literally.

These sold out quick smart at my local last time they were half price. Got a rain check though, so get one if your store is 'out'.
