      There is a hack that involves a Zigbee USB sniffer and then you can use opensource zigbee code on a Raspberry pi.
      But otherwise, yes, you need the gateway.

        You don't necessarily need a "sniffer" but do need a Zigbee transceiver of some description.

            @lowey71: Probably not, unless there is cutsom firmware to support other ZigBee devices. Most hub only supports their own ecosystem of devices.

    Even after using 59 d points, the cost is AUD 7.30. What am I doing wrong?

    Update: I Fixed it after using checkout, not checkout using paypal.

          It's a binary switch. If your window is already open, it's not going to detect if it's opened further. Is that what you mean?

          It can detect if a closed window is opened.
