  • Decent tv! I have one.

    $1850 about 3-4 months ago.

  • Is this better or Lg 65sk8000pta

    • Viewing angles are slightly better on the LG, and the smart software is (arguably) easier to use, but the Samsung has better black levels, is better for gaming, and is has more features to the smart software.

  • Bargain!

  • Link doesn't take me to the deal.

  • Thanks.

Have had a bad experience in the past with stancash, wouldn't recommend them for big purchases…

    • What was the bad experience? I just purchased the 65" C8 off them

      • +1

I needed to get the dates for shipping of a small item sorted out with the manager, very quickly it escalated to an abusive conversation which caught me off guard.
Another time i wanted to buy a TV that they advertised as "open box" but after the third call they confirmed it actually was a display model and has been turned on and has some minor scratches… When confronted (very polite mind you) they quickly got abusive. This sort of escalation doesn't leave a good impression. (I have worked in retail and so i wouldn't consider my self the general annoying customer).

Based on these experiences i don't know how they would handle a warranty claim… The same conversion with applianceonline/l or appliancecentral has been a lot more positive, and they are much friendlier.
It is very likely that it's just been a coincidence those two times which I've had a bad experience, but for me I'd avoid them in future as the savings are not really worth the potential future headache… Just negotiate the price with one of the bigger guys.

  • Stancash's price has jumped up to $2,273 even though the listing has the price as $2,005.
