Been looking for a fast laptop for a while and this was one of the cheapest with 16 gigs of ram and 8750h processor I found.

Not intended as a gaming laptop, 16gb ram and a 6 core cpu, more for productive/media use
If you're playing a game like csgo it's kind of the perfect set up. All depends on the game really.
Shame that it's a 15.6"….
Would have purchased it in a heartbeat if it's a 13.3"/14".
This is kind of a strange beast.
It has a powerful processor and sufficient RAM for a good quality photo/video editing machine, but the colour coverage of 57% sRGB is horrendous for this type of work.
As noted, the GTX1050 also does not make it a dedicated gaming laptop.
The weight (2.3-2.4kg) puts it in the heavy end for laptops, and if you include the powerbrick + cabling (given that it has a 52kwh battery powering a 45w processor, you will probably want it, and Notebook check clocked 4 hours and 5 minutes from web surfing usage…) it will push it to 3-3.5kg. Half your hand carry weight limit if you are using it to travel.
As a desktop replacement, it seems overpriced.
A bit unsure about this machine.
Last two times i travelled. I had a 7kg hand carry and a slim laptop carry bag which they dont weigh.
However if your laptop is in your hand carry. Then it will get weighed when your hand carry gets weighed.
I'm picking one up as a development machine. Well spec'ed for programming and light gaming.
Hi folks, just a heads up, I got the same laptop but with 1060 GPU, and the fan noise is horrendous
wow these actually have i7 6core/12thread cpus, albeit lower clocked than desktop, still very beastly. just a few years ago Intel would sell those mobile 2c/4t "i7", which was hilarious.
Would have jumped on this if it had Thunderbolt 3.
that cpu is way to powerful for that gpu
