I know with Amex offers they often exclude things but they are unable to tell what you purchase.
Yes, their system is different to Amex because unlike Amex, Flybuys knows what you buy and how many (like my dad's 32 banana purchases from last year)

Gift cards are excluded when calculating how many Little Shop collectables you get.

@Sharp: What bonus? Do you mean the bonus points? They'll get posted at the same time i.e. you should get 2050 points this evening - 50 for your $50 gift card and 2000 bonus points.
If you didn't get the bonus points, usually means that someone didn't program the promotion correctly (or maybe you bought the wrong Ultimate gift card e.g. Teens instead of Kids) but a quick chat to flybuys will get that resolved for you.

I guess, but on the other hand, Coles will let you top up Opal cards and still qualify for the spend x get y bonus points unlike Woolies which always exclude travel cards
@CVonC: If you convert them to Flybuys dollars, maybe. Not sure how their system is set up; I know they didn't qualify for the Coles Little Shop promotion when I topped up $80
@kerfuffle: Just an update to this. You can use Flybuys to pay for Opal but only if you bring your physical card as it needs to be swiped and you need to enter your pin. The Flybuys number using Stocard or whatever app you use is not enough.
That's different to Flybuys dollars. That seems to be associated with your Coles MasterCard, am I right?

@kerfuffle: Auto $10 redemption in a transaction requires you have a Coles credit card or insurance policy, otherwise no such function.
Even you have 4000 pts, Coles only allows you to use one lot of 2000 pts in one transaction.
@kerfuffle: By the way, I remembered the counter do not have the dedicated Flybuys card scanner. I'm not sure if this is relevant?

I checked two Coles stores nearby and they don't keep eBay gift cards unlike Woolies, where most of the stores do sell eBay gift cards :(.

I set up multiple FB accounts to take advantage of this offer. Be weary, the email sent with the bar code to use whilst you wait for the physical card is wrong!! I logged into the app and that bar code is the correct one. Why do I know this? I got a receipt with 7k plus points which I found strange. Not possible as I had just registered. FFS, now I’ll have to try and call FB to fix the issue. I hope there is no rule about multiple accounts
Had the same issue - called them today and they said they will manually credit the points onto my account. Just make sure you mention the 2k bonus points otherwise they won't credit that.
I mentioned 2,050 pts. $50 for the transaction and 2k bonus. I had to fwd them the emails so I wrote it there too. The guy also mentioned this is going to head office as it’s a serious issue
