Bought one one of these last year (but for $50 more). They are listed for $1159 band new on the Dell site. There were a few on the outlet site.

    The reason these are expensive is because they are factory colour calibrated with 100% adobe RGB+SRGB.

    Actual RRP for these is around $879, per Static Ice

      If accurate colour is important for your work, you could get another decent panel and an auto-calibrator for cheaper than that, and you'd be able to re-calibrate as you relocate or change your monitor.

      For everyone else, they can usually just dig up a quality ICC profile online.

      I'm looking for a 27" USB-C QHD (or better) monitor to work with my MacBook Pro (darn having only USB-C is annoying). I can't for the life of me remember what was the price when Dell recently had their 40% off. Was this S2719DC at a better price than ?

      Or is this $594 the best price for this model thus far ?

      Or should I wait for the next better Dell discount ?

        I doubt that a model released in Sep would have been 40% off. 30% must surely be the best price you'll get on it for a while.

      OK from memory. I mostly use my 24" for gaming (until the new 27" arrives) but I did try the 27" a few times and it seemed fine. I only have a GTX 970 though so someone with a more powerful card would get even better results.
