Pretty much the cheapest 23.6 inch full HD monitor with you can buy in Australia (just checked on Static Ice)

The freight charge (from memory) is $20, unless you can go and pickup yourself, this isn't much of a deal. May as well get from MSY. Total $175 if you include delivery.

    I still remember being so excited that monitors had finally come down in price enough that I could get my first LCD (17" 1280x1024) monitor for under $500. It doesn't feel like THAT long ago…

      Ew… 5:4 17" TN panel LCD. Why bother? I remember at the time, you could get a 17" LG Flatron CRT for about $170 , and thinking to myself, why would anyone pay 3 times that price for an inferior LCD? Unless it's an S-IPS, I wouldn't bother.

      Nope, sorry, no speakers. I got it confused with a AOC 2436Vwh, which is a different model.

    not to sound condescending but does this come with a free HDMI cable
    I have got loads but sometimes people like to have it included in the box.
    Some (new) ozbargainers would neg and say(troll) " Now I have to buy that $70 HDMI cable that cute asian chick from Dick Smith Suggested"

    on the spec sheet at AOC 2436VW only has DVI and analog RGB….

    I might be mistaken.

      I don't think AOC 2436Vw have HDMI input.
      I have bought my AOC 2436VwH from Fluidtek before which come with build-in speaker and HDMI input.

        was getting confused cause in description it says its got HDMI and analog but on spec sheet from AOC it said DVI and analog.

      This model doesnt but 2436VWH doesn. This model is 2436VW.

      I've always found them to be fine, good prices, timely shipping, and products have always been ridgy-didge!

      I've not had to have any warranty dealings with them, but from a pure sales POV they've done ok by me so far! :)

          IT estate is good, I've bought a LCD monitor, a mouse and a graphics card from them before and had no issues with shipping times or after sales service
          (I had to RMA my graphics card, it only took 1 email to convince them that it was broken)
