    Classic games.
Still waiting the Age of Empires 3 Remaster, due sometime in 2019. Surely Age of Empires 4 will be released sometime late next year also.

    • +4

Age of Empires 2 is being remade as well, can't wait, the huge difference between Age of Empires and Age of Empires Definitive Edition was astounding. Hoping to see the same

      • +1

I'd pay full price for Age of Empires II remake. Absolute classic of a game!

        • +1

Same here, I found problems with the HD edition

      • I am still playing AOE Rise of Rome. I tried the demo (or whatever they called it)) version of Definition Edition, and found that it was weird comparing to the original version

    Yeaaaaaaaaa boiiiiii

      Haha username totally checks out

Who in the world would not own this game by now? 😳 Not a fan of AOE 3. Kept purchasing AoE 2 exapansions just to show support. Eagerly waiting for AOE 4.

    • 100% agree AOE3 is crap.

      • +6

I loved AOE 3 tbh, sure it wasn't perfect but I thought the graphics were really great for its time and had fun

        • +4

It was a bit too modern for me personally. I loved the medieval appeal of Age of Kings.

        • it's a pretty good game, still looks great after so long. quite a lot of people still play online multiplayer

    • +3

Me. I never played AOE3. probably too much Blizzard and C&C in the way. Over $10 for a game of this age seemed a push, was staring at screen, then nek meenit "aiyoooo, aiyoooo, wololo" click add to cart

      And they're like
      You'd better hunt boars

      • +1

        Damn right
        You'd better hunt boars
        And pay tribute
        Cos I have to charge

    • -3

Grammer nazis would be able to rush you unless you used a .. trebuchet

  • +1

shouldnt it be free by now? lol

  • Been wanting to get these for awhile now. Noice!

  • And what about cheatcodes. Does it works on remastered?

    • Yes, and there are some new ones I think too

  • +4

One of my favourite things to do was to set up a trebuchet outside the enemy gates and lure them out. And while they're coming out of the gates, just rush the whole army in while the gates are "stuck" open lol

    • +2

I used to like using the trebuchet to damage an ally's structures, then turning them into an enemy and wiping them out.

      • +1

Lol you're savage. I like it!

  • +12

I’m not paying that much for such an old game!
    wololo
Hell yeah! I’m getting it for this price!

  • +1

    Rogin!

  • Sold.

  • Which one I should buy?

    • +2

      both

    • +2

2 at the very least, the HD edition still gets regular updates/expansions and has a decent sized community.

  • Had some credit leftover on humble that was expiring next month, ao2 was a good buy, but ao3 not interested.

Bought AOE-2.. never liked aoe3. Thanks OP.

  • Great find. Loved AOE2 back in the day. Humble Bundle Steam keys are now exhausted, but they still let you purchase and will apparently email you once new keys become available.

  • Cheers OP bought!

  • Does AOE2 run on Macs at all? Would love to relive the glory days of the Strelets rush.

    • Nope, not natively. You'd need WINE, LUTRIS or some kind of Windows VM or even Bootcamp. FYI you can check Steam for Mac compatibility.

  • Thanks OP, bought both!

AOE3 steam key activated successfully straight away, but AOE2 keys temporarily exhausted and will be emailed in future. Good enough for me… Humble's normally pretty good with that.

Remember, AOE3 Complete Collection has the original America's pack, plus Warchief's and Asian Dynasties. Well worth the price.

Go see what Steam is currently trying to sell AOE2 and AOE3 for right now! :)

  • Thanks OP purchased both.
