    Thanks OP, got one. Just a reminder that online items can only be returned to a physical store if you pay by credit card. Paying by PayPal or Afterpay won’t allow you to return back to a physical store. Important for me as I’m not sure about the sizing and would like the ability to take it back if it doesn’t fit without paying return post.

    Anyone know how small it is when packed in the stuff sack? Looking for a warm jacket to take on my backpacking trip.

      They are pretty small - about the size of one of those gluten-free bread loaves (the little ones). I've got the one with the hood - I don't store it long-term in the sack though to avoid damaging the down.

        BCF do, and i got an email a few weeks back mentioning macpac would have a section within BCF.

        IMO all the other camping stores dropped in quality prior to going out of business.

        Happy to be wrong, just wanted to point out it has changed hands.

          I don't know why you're being downvoted. When a company changes hands so does the team. Usually the team that creates the brand work on a level of passion that cannot be matched by the replacing team because there's no way they are into or understand the brand to the depth that the original team has.

          *Worked for a distributor in the food industry and saw a lot of sell-outs. Quality dropping due to the new owners factoring the money more than the consumers or brand.

      Currently wearing one of these (hooded) in northern British Colombia (Canada) which i bought a few weeks ago. Likely same batches/stock. Great quality, warmth is not an issue. Have been in -10 degrees and been fine.
      In the same price bracket i was looking at the Uniqlo ultralight down and this is far better.

      Absolutely. It can even take -30 degrees.

      The person wearing it - probably not! :)

      It'd really depend on a few factors. What layers are you wearing underneath? Is it -15 still air, or 30km/h winds? Is it raining or dry? Are you sitting still or walking around? Do feel the cold more than others?

      I reckon if you have enough layers underneath (base and fleece), it isn't too windy or raining (down and water don't mix), and you're moving around, you … should …. be fine. Wind would be your biggest enemy.

      It's about $150 cheaper than the nano puff and probably lower quality, I would pay extra and get patagonia just because they are my favorite clothing brand.
