Deal starts tomorrow, snacks that are in this box in picture shown are 2 for $2.80.
every other item in the store is at $2.80 each

reason: getting close to expiration date (some on 14th April , and others at a later date)
Those products have been ordered long before the tsunami incident in Japan, so its safe from any radiation.
And anyway Australian customs are really strict.

edit: box will be refilled as we got more stock

    As far as I know, there is currently only one Daiso store in Australia:
    The Hive Shopping Centre, Shop 23, 313 Victoria St, Abbotsford VIC 3067.

    sell all sorts of stuff there, hair stuff like combs, brushes, hairbands, band-aid, plastic containers, bookstands,shoestands, pails, mops, brooms, carton boxes, decoration stuff, deodorizers, dehumidifiers, ceramics. (most popular ones are japanese ones), pet stuff like leashes, bowl, toys.
    Kitchen stuff like knives, cuttleries, onigiri maker, bento box, chopsticks,
    aroma stuff, tea candles.
    laundry bags, padlocks, bicycle chains, cushions, room slippers.

    well there are a lot more of course, but its impossible for me to type everything.
    Also got drinks, and the canned drinks are 2 for $2.80 (everyday price)

      Yeah well, they have Daiso in the USA too and it's $1.50 (Aus 1.42).Similar price in Singapore.

      Why is it $2.80 is Australia????

      We are much closer to Japan.
      Talking it up the pooper….

        $2.80 for TWO. That means $1.40 each, cheaper than USA.

        Also use the BMI (big mac index) if you want to compare the price.

        Everything else in the store is $2.80 (standard price) and that's the point being made. We are paying more compared to Daiso stores elsewhere.

    Much agreed. It's $2 SGD ($1.5 AUD) back at home. Aussies seems to pay more… (like Steam?)
