      Rather than getting the AC adapter, I highly recommend getting the usb charging cable instead (not an official product, but I've been using one bought from ebay and there hasn't been any issues)

          The newer version is the New 2DS XL which is a downgrade as they removed 3D and it has an overall cheaper feel.

              @grab_ur_freebies: They really need to in my opinion. I own both 3DS and Switch and 3DS does fill a gap the Switch doesn't have. The Switch is too bulky and the battery life is too short to feel like a truly portable system to me. The 3DS is less than half the size and has nearly double the battery life.

                @Yuri Lowell: I prefer the 3ds XL for its size and library. But switch is better for party games. Short battery life isn't good for portability.

                I got switch mainly for octopath

                3DS for pheonix Wright series

                Both are still needed.

            @FabMan: I remember they said they didn't want to obsolete the NDS but the portability in the Switch has cannibalized the NDS sales. And that game publishers are leaning towards the Switch

              @Blitzfx: Yeah, new games cost the same (roughly), but the newer Switch has the more powerful system for a little bit more in the initial outlay. Shame for Nintendo, all their systems can be easily hacked.

                @FabMan: I hadn't thought about it until you mentioned cost, but they could bring people back if DS sales were this cheap, $100, compared to the $350 of the Switch. I remember a while back they used to be $250, and on super sale around $180. Didn't make a lot of sense like you said.

      2. They're rare single print titles (JRPGs from the likes of Atlus or NIS America are often this)

    Was a 100% claimed but i browsed around a bit and came back and it was 99% claimed so i put it in the cart and checked out within 15min. Join the waiting list and keep browsing around then come back and refessh. If it shows up put immediately in the cart.

      They have the lightning deals advertised on the site generally at the start of the day for the rest of the day. Sometimes a lightning deal starts start at a certain time.

      You'd have to check the lightning or daily deals section manually every day, or ozbargain

    My order was either lost by the courier or never sent, as tracking shows it being lodged with Fastway with no additional update. So I contacted Amazon and while on chat they instructed me to place a new order and they would then adjust the price with a promo code making the final price only $79. Overall pleasantly surprised with the $20 discount didn't expect such great customer service.
