      same here lol

These things are surprisingly handy. They're the kind of tool that's better to have in advance and later on you find out how to apply it too work around the house.

Going for the same price on the SC website too - https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/rockwell-shopseries-rota…

I have one. Bought it a few years back. Used it to cut some plastic and polish some metal. It’s not bad! Great for the price. No manual on use of the attachments though so I don’t know what I’m doin most of the time lol

    • Ooh will it work on polishing the chrome tips on my car exhaust? Which attachment did you use?

      • +2

It's a waste (and potentially too small anyway) to polish chrome exhausts.

Just go and buy a tube of normal metal polish and use a rag held in your fingers… it's not in the slightest bit difficult. You could even use toothpaste or standard car polish.

You can get a metal polishing kit from Bunnings to do this. Comes with two or three polishing attachments for your power drill and polishing compound too.
I used this on my stainless steel headers to make them shine like new

Yeah I used it to polish some aluminium on my motorbike. Came out pretty good. There are wool polishing pads included in the bundle I got. I used some metal polish on those.

This would be better and cheaper than the Ozito at Bunnings purely because all the bits are nicely arranged. Ozito just chuck everything in a box

    • The various Ozito models also have a storage box for the accessories.
