Boxing Day bargains are still around, and today we'd like to issue a $10 cashback bonus plus a Groupon $5 off code ($20 min spend) to all new ShopBack sign ups today (code to be emailed by Sunday 30th December)! Please sign up through this page to qualify.

    looks good, they want my mobile phone number to sign up though, do they send any spam msgs? i had enough of that on my land line so am vigilant not to give out mobile number to too many companies…

      Hi iluvpizza,

      We don't send out marketing messages via SMS. Your phone number will be used for verification and security purposes (for sign up and when you're about to withdraw your funds).

        ok cool, since ur here, u might want to look at changing the signup process. at first i entered a landline number because it didn't specify you wanted a mobile number, so i had to start over again.

    Hi rep,

    I would like to purchase something from Groupon. I have the Shopback app—just wondering if I need to have the Groupon app in order to get the cash back or can I go to the Groupon website through the Shopback app? I would just like to confirm because after I went into the Groupon website, it stated "earn cash back in app" at the bottom… I am unsure if this indicates that I can ONLY earn cashback using the Groupon app or?

      You can indeed go through the Groupon website through the ShopBack app and still get the 15% cashback.

    Hi all,

    Just wanted to post this here, since there might be a delay in sending out the codes, we've instead added a cashback entry to your accounts with your Groupon codes.

    We definitely don't want to send out the codes after they've expired, so as a quick fix we've done this.

    Please check your cashback history for your Groupon code.

    Hi Shopback Rep.

    I referred a friend and she advises that she can only see $5 as the referral bonus.

    I do not see any referee bonus in my account either.

    Is this a known issue?

      Hi alecsmart,

      Once your friend has confirmed cashback the bonus will appear on your account.

      Also refer to our T&Cs

      From 1 November 2018 - 3 January 2019, you'll earn a TOTAL of $11 bonus ($5 automatic bonus + Extra $6 bonus) for every friend you refer successfully. You will receive the extra $6 bonus for every qualified referral (see above for definition of a "qualified referral") successfully referred within the promotion period. This means that the friend referred will have to make an accumulated min spend of $20 by 3 January 2019 for you to qualify for the extra bonus. Each friend you referred will also qualify for a TOTAL of $11 bonus ($5 bonus upon sign up + Extra $6 bonus after making an accumulated purchase of $20). The extra bonus will be credited into you and your friend's ShopBack account by 31st March 2019. Users qualify for this bonus promotion on an individual basis per email account on ShopBack; no accounts can be combined in order to reach the qualified friends requirement.
