        I managed to purchase the battery but you need to buy another item along with the battery. Put that other item in the cart and have another tab for the battery then put it in the cart. refresh the page for that other item then the battery should include there. That's how i did it and the purchase was successfull

I tried this method on my phone, then tried using Google chrome, then safari, and then somehow got the page to show USD prices instead and got as far as the PayPal process and it just comes back with an error and I haven't been able to get any further. Any tips?

              UPDATE:
              So I had the handlebar mount in my cart, and then had the dual battery charger open in another tab. I clicked checkout for the handlebar mount only, but then immediately clicked 'add to cart' on the tab with the battery charger. When I checked the screen with shipping and payment details, it now had both items included and the total price reflected both items. Went ahead and paid with PayPal, and got a confirmation screen of the order for both the handlebar mount and battery charger, 'Pending GoPro's acceptance'.
              Fingers crossed, thanks for everyone's help so far!

        • lucky you, i made 2 order- 1) dual charger + handler, 2) chesty; they say 1st one is canceled due to regulations and bank statement says charged (not pending); the second one is pending …. gopro website sucks. I paid through paypal so has opened dispute for 1st transaction.

          • @[Deactivated]: So I'm in the same boat. No communication from GoPro, contacted them today and they said it's cancelled because of the battery charger and shipping limitations. Told me I won't be charged, but the money came out of my account on 2nd Jan. They said it hadn't. So onto PayPal claim for me.

Contacted GoPro, said order cancelled on 4th Jan (I didn't get any email or anything). Told me to contact bank if the funds don't arrive back within 3-5 business days from order cancellation. Said GoPro "doesn't do that" (take money when order cancelled, lol good one). Time for PayPal dispute.

                  • @woo10: I am not sure what to assume. Some people are saying their order arrived, others are saying their order is still in pending state and learnt of its cancellation after calling up GoPro customer support/disputing with PayPal.

                @[Deactivated]: After disputing through PayPal, I got an email from GoPro support saying "The reason why your refund hasn't been processed yet is because of an active PayPal case. Kindly contact PayPal support to close the case that the refund for [ORDER NUMBER] will be completed."

                TOTAL BULLSH*T.

                They want me to close my dispute before I even get my money refunded (once you close a dispute, you cannot reopen it and GoPro doesn't have to refund me).

                Funny enough, the seller responded through PayPal with "Dear customer, this has been escalated internally and a refund will be processed. Kind regards - ModusLink B.V.".

                I called PayPal and explained everything, they told me not to contact GoPro anymore to avoid any confusion and any accidental void of warranty and escalated my dispute to a claim.

                PayPal said I should get my money back on the 21st of Jan, if I don't, PayPal will step in and refund it on the 22nd.

                Would reply to @Sckirb as well but don't know how to reply to multiple people and don't want to spam.

                TLDR; If GoPro asks you to close the PayPal dispute/claim so they can process refund, DON'T DO IT. Call PayPal and tell them everything, they will handle the rest.

      • I've been trying to get a cheap GoPro dual battery charger for ages and it's extremely hard due to these postage limitations. A good Amazon deal is our best bet at this stage.

          Did you have a link? He seems prerty positive on the original 2016 version here (this is the new 18L 2018 version on the gopro site for sale):

          Only real gripes he seems to have are on the cost vs the dekasi knock off version… which is 66 USD or about 94 AUD, so with this at $100 aud for the improved 2018 edition thought this was a good buy. Reviews elsewhere also seem to be very positive.

      my battery order get canceled. the orders were pending, so i tried service chat. They say they can't get battery shipped to au.
      I had another order for chesty; which according to guy is still pending because the transaction isn't cleared by bank. I paid via paypal and a and transaction is already cleared by bank. Ordering from gopro website sucks.

      • That sucks. My money has come out of the account but is still pending as far as their order status goes. Will give it a few days before contacting them and inevitably getting it cancelled due to the battery charger limitations.

        • my other order with chest mount is still pending (ordered dec 31); they say its waiting bank approval. I paid with paypal and the amount is already deducted from bank (not pending anymore). What the hell is going on; gopro website sucks.

  • Ordered the Dual battery charger about a week ago. No email notification since ordering. Today I ordered the Seeker backpack as it was out of stock for a few days now. Got shipping notification about 2 hours after ordering. I don't have hope for the battery order :(

    In the order status page, both orders still show pending.

    • Received my Seeker backpack yesterday 11/01/19 delivered from Singapore via UPS.

      Still shows as Pended on the order status page. I might have to just reorder my other items without the batteries.

  • Ordered the silicon sleeve + lanyard on the weekend but the order still shows as pending. I called today for an update and was told the order was "cancelled due to bank issues, but not to worry as no funds were taken out". No email or notification, and even ridiculous because I paid with Paypal and it was taken out immediately.
    Now I have no order and have to wait a few days for an internal investigation and/or paypal dispute.
    The call center was like dealing with a brick wall.

Our website usually stops these orders before they are placed but somehow yours got through. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience but you will be refunded for the order. If you haven't received it already then please give it some time as it goes through your bank's processes. This can take a week or two. If you need a status update on the refund I recommend contacting your bank. For any other help please give us a call or chat in on our website for immediate assistance.

    Good News story here! I received my order with the dual charger and battery!

    I ordered a few accessories and added the charger and battery at check-out using the second tab as mentioned above (thanks!). I ordered on Friday 11/1 and paid via PayPal and received an invoice from "Modus Link" which at the time I thought was odd. I kept checking the status over weekend it was showing Pending, but I didn't really expect much to happen over the weekend anyway.

    First thing Monday I contacted GoPro via webchat to check up on the progress of the order (I was nervous due to the mixed success of the batteries being delivered). They told me they couldn't deliver to PO boxes (I had used a parcel locker address) so I gave them my home address, and then again contacted them Monday afternoon to make sure it had been updated. They then told me the billing team was reviewing the order "specifically my account" and that the review usually takes 24 to 48 hours. Once this was done the order would be passed to the warehouse team.

    I queried why the billing team was reviewing it when the money had already been paid. They said they didn't receive money until the item is shipped and that PayPal was holding the money as "a reservation". Seemed odd. I was also told that to expect the receipt of goods in another 6-9 days, despite the 2-3 days quote on ordering
    After more frustrating chat back and forth, there wasn't much I could do but cross my fingers and wait for an update.

    To my surprise on Wed 16 I received an invoice from GoPro for the complete order (inc battery), Thursday I received shipping advice and it was delivered today (Friday). Given the feedback above, I fully expected the order to cancelled. It seems you just have to roll the dice and hope for best - I don't think I'll order direct from GoPro ever again! Interestingly the order status is still showing as Pending on the GoPro website.

    Hope this gives some hope to those still waiting on their battery orders.

  • Thanks OP - I got the 3 way and supersuit. Decided not to take the risk with the dual charger and battery, though it would be very handy. The handler is currently out of stock and unfortunately it wouldn't let me proceed to checkout with that in my cart.
