26c each. Good price for such good tabs!

  • Any more opinions about how it is comparable to finish and fairy?
    Thx

I'm using fairy but the fragrance is too strong that I often have to re-rinse my cup before using.

      • Ahh ok I haven't noticed anything to be honest.

      • That could be your dish washer not rinsing properly.

    • I find it much better than Finish and better than Aldi.

    • They all same, I tried all of them and the Aldi one worked out to to be best bằng for buck. Clean wise they all have similar effect for most of the stuff. At the moment going through this earth range and it doesn't clean cutlery in the top tray as good as the other two but the plus is it's the most ordor neutral than the rest.

    • i read the choice review and other users experiences and bought 2 packs based on it, however in my dishwasher these tablets were just truly bad, gunk marks still everywhere, bits of food on everything etc. nowhere near the calibre of even the coles ultra brand, and way inferior to fairy platinum and finish q.u. haven't tried aldi ones yet. sucks because i love using eco products where i can so i was very keen for these to be good…

      • I had been buying before that review for a year or so, and thought they worked great. Much better than Finish. Right after that review I got my next box and it was different - the box changed and it didn't work anywhere near as well. Also the tablet wasn't dissolving totally anymore. Anyway I tried a few different brands and eventually tried their powder, and it still works OK, so I use that now. But yeah I can imagine your experience of having choice recommend it, and then trying the new formula.

        • And it wasn't just a one off with a single box either, I have tried it a few different times since in the hope it'll be good again.

@atrorz: good to know it wasn't just me. i was so surprised, ozbargain sentiment was in favour and it's rare i have an experience go against that. might give the powder a go at some point if i see a deal, cheers.

            • @yupyup: yeah, i kinda wonder if the powder only works better because I probably use more than I'm supposed to though? Or whether it's that they didnt change the formula in it.

I'll definitely try the aldi ones based on the responses here, though.

The marketing is trying to say using a dishwasher is good for the environment.

    • +4

It is (compared to the alternatives.)

  • That's why it's called marketing…"the medium is the message"
    It has more biodegradable ingredients.

I find their dishwashing liquid terrible. Dishes feel greasy and oily after washing. Even Coles brand works better

Are these tablets really any good?

      No unwrapping required

Thanks I always check to see if these are on sale whenever I shop. It’s been a couple months at least since they were this price

    Aldi Logix Platinum rock!

  • I have a septic system and of the biodegradable options (I've tried a lot of them), these are the ones that work the best.

  • I much prefer the Aldi ones to these…Tried them back to back and Aldi's clean a lot better.

Agree with the others that Fairy smells far too strong and stays in plastics.

For those that find these don't clean as well, does it happen to be because maybe they aren't as "harsh" as the other brands?
I find our dishwasher is pretty capable but usually the things that would be great to not have up handwash are those that shouldn't be done in dishwashers because of the abrasives; like non-stick cookware and some utensils with those handles.

    • +1

I agree with you, Ive found after using the Aldi Logix ones for a couple of months, the abrasives have damaged lots of our cookware and our plates. The Earth choice tabs are one of the better tabs I've used that work and clean well without harsh abrasives and overpowering perfumes. To note: We do have a newer style dishwasher also

  • Our dishwasher is clean - we occasionally use the finish dishwasher cleaners and the mesh catcher is always empty - but all of the different finish tablets leave our cups with an egg smell that sometimes persists even after another rinse cycle in the dishwasher. All it takes is any one dish with the slightest whisper of egg to make it happen 😒

Anyone have or resolve the same issue with these or other brands?

    • Try a couple of drops of eucalyptus oil in your machine. Also cleans out grease residue and smells like strailya when you open the door when it's done

    • This is probably what you're experiencing

      Are you using rinse aid?
The rinse aid from the tablet probably isn't making it to the end cycle (I don't know if it ever does).
Make sure that the rinse aid dose is correctly set in your dish washer.

If your dishwasher uses salt, make sure that you haven't run out of it.

Nice one. Have been holding off for a sale. Literally down to my last tablet! These are my favourite. Have an old budget looking dishwasher but these tablets work really well.

    • Literally used my last tablet last night!

  • Aldi logix or this?
