Today we have a range of aptX headphones & Earphones

aptX works to improve sound quality and reduce Bluetooth lag. For the aptX technology to work it requires both the transmitter and receiver (eg. headphones or speakers) to have aptX capabilities. These headphones will still work as normal when connected to a device without aptX. I have included an aptX Bluetooth Transmitter & Receiver at the bottom of the post.

  • Any of your bluetooth headphones have AAC support for the iPhones?

    • That's a good question, I have forwarded it to the SunValley Rep and see if I can find out for you.

    • +2

I have been informed that all TaoTronics & VAVA Headphones & Earphones have AAC support :)

  • +2

Whats the difference between 36 and bh22

    • +1

Other than a slightly different style, the BH036 comes with aptX in addition to ANC.

  • -2

They are not $74 they are still $99

    • +1

Enter code VRF8WEPK while completing check out.

      • +3

        Thank you, I'm an idiot

    • I am wrong

  • BH042?
    Need long battery life.

    • I will ask for a new deal as soon as they are back in stock.

If you or anyone else would like me to let them know when I have a deal for any TaoTronics, VAVA, HooToo, Anjou, Sable or RAVPower product, please send me a private message with that product in the title and I will be happy to notify you as soon as I have an active deal :)

      • +1

Notified from last deal that was sold out.

        • No problem, I will go back to that list when there is new stock and a new deal :)

  • +2

I bought a pair of BH022 headphones when discounted as an Xmas present for my partner. They are so confortable. Will they be discounted again because I would like another pair for myself?

    • +2

Yes mate, just waiting for them to get more stock in so there is enough to run a deal :)

    • I am waiting for these too

  • Anyone used the TT-BH07?

Does the ear flap bit do a good job of keeping them in nice and snug?

    • +1

I haven't used them for a vigorous work-out but when I have used them they stayed in with no issue.

  • So i purchased the BH-42 and they're actually quite good but there's the wierdest thing with the earphones that when i turn it on it says "something" connected? what's that about xev?

Also i can't download the manuals. The taotronics website download links are broken.

    • Haha, I don't know. It kind of sounds like 'Thot Connected'

If you contact [email protected] they will be able to supply you with the manual and I will report the issue with downloading the manual for these Earphones to the Rep.

  • How long will this deal last?

    • +1

      Until Friday, Midnight AEDT

      • +1

        Thank you very much

  • Is this good for the gym?

    • Both the BH07 & BH009 are made for working out, so no worries there.

  • Would these be better than an ATH-M50 on the train for noise isolation?

  • Are the ear hooks removable? I often wear ear muffs, so not sure how they'd go.

    • Yes they are.

  • This Bluetooth transmitter receiver is better in every way.

aptX-LL in both TX and Rx. The Taotronics only provides Low Latency in transmit mode.
aptX non low latency mode has noticeably less latency than the Taotronic.
Flatter EQ of the source - no odd compression, or bottom and top boosting, like with the Taotronics(may contribute to the poor aptX latency - in non LL mode).
    Digital and Analogue as well.
    Separate pairing button.
Built in preamp with volume buttons in transmit mode - set level on the Taotronic.
20% better range in TX. Have not compared it for Rx.

Buttons become remote bluetooth buttons in receiver mode. Next track/Vol up Prev Track/Vol down Pause etc - Standard Bluetooth headset functions. The Taotronic has no Bluetooth control buttons at all.
The only odd thing I have found is that if running on the inbuilt battery, plugging the USB in for charging will turn the unit off(In TX at least, have not tested in Rx mode). The taotronic does not have this issue and will continue to run.

Better still, it is cheaper at $27.98(it was $15.98 before Christmas, which was crazy value).

aptX and aptx-LL are two different modes.
    aptX = 150ms+ latency
    aptX-LL = 32ms+ latency
"Audio transmission needs to happen at a rate of ~40ms to be heard in synchronisation with what you’re watching"
    https://www.aptx.com/aptx-low-latency

If after a receive only to convert headphones etc to bluetooth, the Taotronic TT-BR009 has been good, and has aptX Low Latency(No Taotronic BT Tx/Rx has this in Rx mode).
    Built in microphone.
    https://www.amazon.com.au/TaoTronics-Bluetooth-Receiver-Hand…
Too expensive at $26.99 compared to the above Tx/Rx unit I linked above, unless you want the built in microphone or smaller size.
xev has been posting a code to make it $19.99, tho it was originally discounted to $16 when I bought mine.

  • TT-BH07 or VA-BH009?
The VA-BH009 have longer battery life and are only $3 more and seem the exact same in every way, so they seem like the more logical choice. Anything else I should take into account?

    • The BH009s are better overall, longer battery life and metal casing on the earbuds as well.

      • When will they be on sale again? I missed this sale :(

  • I have a pair of old bluedio t2+ which has fm radio feature. Looking to upgrade to something newer but I've grown to really like the ability to listen to radio when I'm Traveling on bus/train. Are there any TaoTronics or VAVA with this feature?

    • I am afraid not but there are many apps that can stream radio.

  • will you guys have any specials on the bh042 anytime soon ?

    • Waiting for it to come back into stock, as soon as it does I will ask them for a new deal.

If you would like me to let you know when there is a new deal just send me a message with BH042 in the title and I would be happy to notify you :)

    • hey Mate, I have just posted deals, including the BH042s

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/438488

  • Honest question, TTBH07 or Soundpeats Q30+?
I have the Q30+ and are really good, a bit of bass is missing though

  • +2

Will you have another sale anytime soon for the BH07?
