    • UPDATE: Received the email 2h later. Thanks TA!

  • Can i use CLICK10 for deliveries too? How long does it take for the cashback to be added? What happens if you need to return something?

  • +1

Received 2 Coles offers (signed up new account)
    🎁 250 pts ($1.25) for just activating
    🎁 1000pts ($5) for spending $30 or more by 18/1

Nice bonus to go with this $16 off $50 cashback offer👍

And get some (half price) pork 🐖 on your fork 🍴

    • Haha, nicely done! I got absolutely nothing when I signed up this morning, not even so much as a welcome email.

I tied mine to an existing flybuys number though, unsure if that's the difference?

I do have a 2000 points for spending $60 though already there so I may as well go to $60 on my shop.

      • +1

        Hi Click_It😉
Set up new FlyBuys account yesterday & new Coles account today - 1250pt just came through on FlyBuys. 2000pts is better & points offers don't affect Cashback like unlisted codes may.

Hadn't thought of adding old FlyBuys to new Coles account to become new customer! But rarely receive any good offers on old FlyBuys. Years since I set anything up with Coles/FlyBuys.

I use Woolies with multiple Rewards cards for 25-35% off most shops. Only 20% off this week, so this offer is more attractive.

Bought $100.13 of mainly half price items & pork. Used CLICK10 so a $10 saving off that. Total after Cashback, code & equivalent of points should be $67.88.

Buying more than $50 allows for some items unavailable (selected to substitute). TA has said to contact if this causes a problem with Cashback👍

Thanks Infidel and good to see you in another deal again :)

Just did my $60 shop to get 2000 points ($10) and $16 cashback. Total shop, $34 (saved $76)

  • Tracking advice email received just over an hour after order. Of course Cashback won't be definite for a while.

Can only pickup at Coles Express and not an actual supermarket. Plus they charge $3 for click & collect, 15c per bag with no option to bag yourself and you loose another $2.5 by not being able to pay with a 5% off giftcard. Still works out alright with the $16 cashback and $10 off, but I couldn't see myself using it otherwise.

  • +1

I hope they do cashback for existing customers soon!

    • +1

i second that. too much trouble to be setting up new accounts just to get these cr cashbacks

  • By New Coles Online customer does it mean new Flybuy account or new online account? I've a Flybuy account which I use for store shopping but never bought anything online from Coles

    • First time as an online customer

Be cool if all that stated in OP opening because I can assure you I wouldn't be bothered messing around with it . Especially not your local Coles .

    • You couldn't choose any other location than pickup at Coles Express?

There are generally a range of pickup locations available. If there are extra costs at a location, choose another before paying. I chose my nearest supermarket.

Pickup at Coles Express is from lockers with no staff. Purchases need to be transferred there already in your bags. You can't bag up in the car park. Coles Express locker option is for those wanting a fast pickup, not cheapest price.

Choosing to pickup in store, purchases can be bagged yourself at no cost (for own bag or c&c). That's what I did. My first time - worked well.

As Coles do not accept their gift cards online, that option is not available. It's something to factor in.

Even with CashRewards deals for Woolies, you can't get Cashback if you pay with gift cards! So no difference in this regard for CR deals for Woolies or Coles.

I usually shop in store, using 5% discounted Coles eGift Cards from Suncorp. But didn't want to miss out on CR Cashback this time!

Those issues have been discussed in Coles deals. Worth a bit of research before buying. Or ask for advice first if new to this. That's how most of us learn. It's better than not asking & complaining later😉

Explaining all the details & options to make an online purchase is a bit beyond the usual scope of these deals.

Same with use of codes if not listed on CR site - a pretty usual misunderstanding.

no place to put the CLICK10 code - there was, I used it during payment. Others also used the code.

All this is new for CashRewards too, so may be better next deal. TA is good at sorting these things out👍

A good deal… Normal price of my purchases was $190 - will pay $50 after Cashback🎉

Same happened to me. There's literally 5 Coles within 5 km radius but I was forced to choose a Coles Express 9 KMs away with $3 fee and fee for plastic bags even though I don't need them. Never had this issue with Woolworths online and I've used it 3 times in the past and will use them again. Plus grocery search kept timing out. Gave them a piece of my mind in the feedback page. Only reason to use this was the cashback.
To be fair to OP, No one including TA would've known this would happen. However not going back to Coles online anytime soon.

      • Surprised changes in Coles c&c has not reached Vic, by the comments.

But only some choices show unless you click to see other c&c locations! Options first given to me were Coles Express.

In the past I could only choose to pick up at lockers. I gave up & rarely shop at Coles!

Now all local stores have been added for c&c. So many choices - more locations in my area than for Woolies (only at stores).

Instore there are massive signs displaying click & collect above front counter. With ability to use own bags & free c&c - I'll probably be using Coles over Woolies for c&c after this experience. (If only online accepted gift cards!)

Coles invested in a lot of lockers for fast pickup - unlike Woolies. That gave them an advantage. It also centralised their order fulfillment to a limited number of locations & used existing delivery vans to transport to lockers. Downside was when a lot of orders came to those central locations, stock may quickly disappear (as in pork deal).

Seems they have realised decentralised instore fulfillment & c&c will bring in business & are changing their ways.

Thought this change would have or be happening everywhere.

  • On top of that no place to put the CLICK10 code and had to ring them and not instantly in there system . So more messing around .

  • Put options on Coles as they can't compete with the big players with a service like this .

  • does anyone know if i earn bonus flybuys using their usual offers eg 1000 bonus points if you spend $60+ etc?

    • As a new customer…
Should work if link your new Coles account to your FlyBuys card.

Discussed earlier. Bonus Points won't affect Cashback, whereas codes not listed on CR site will most likely lose you Cashback.

I applied for new FlyBuys & Coles accounts. FlyBuys offered bonus 1000pts for $30 shop & another bonus 250 pts for joining. Can't see why these won't be added after my purchase, although not yet showing.

  • I ordered 50 bucks of groceries to be delivered today. However, I was told the meat that I ordered was not available. My order will go below 50 bucks and doesn't qualify feo the cashback.

    Anyone can help?

  • Infidel items in basket then goes directly to cc payment . No place to put code in basket full stop . What happened :
    a) Items in basket ready to checkout clicked green button " Proceed to check out "
    b) How would you like to pay ? One option cc only .
    c) page asked for cc details no code box .

Where can I apply codes when nothing there ?

BTW min spend on this trial is $80 .

    • +1

It was my first time using Coles online in over a year - it's changed.
You just need to read what's there😉

After entering CC details, there is a Confirmation page (payment not complete until you do this):
Almost done… Please confirm your order details
This is where you can change things, with space down a bit for code:
Credits and promos [ADD A PROMO CODE] <-CLICK10
(Just above confirmation of FlyBuys number & Payment Method)

You then click to agree & Place Order
Layout may differ with different browsers.

With Coles, purchase price is calculated at time your order is filled, not when it is placed. So heavier weighed items will increase cost. Out of stock items may be substituted (unless you chose not to in that Confirmation page) otherwise not charged if can't supply.
Woolies charge when order is placed & refund to CC if out of stock. If using gift card, a store credit code is sent.

Min spend shows $50 for me?
Delivery shows as free on first order.

  • 15summer code showing up in cashreward app next to bonus $16 Cashback, same with Click10. Does that mean it can stack with Click10 now?

    • +1

      That's good news for some.
Codes have been proven to stack, but it is against the terms of 15SUMMER.
Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer (eg CLICK10)
So Coles may not approve cashback later. It's uncertain.

      • +2

Well said Infidel, thank you. The codes are meant to be used individually as per the terms (not stacked). May track, but if declined by Coles, we have no recourse.

        • +1

Well, guess I better not being greedy then, plus I don't really need that much grocery anyway. Thanks for clarifying TA.

  • how long is this cashback thing going by the way? Nothing I really need in this week's specials, thinking of postponing to next week

  • Hi TA, would the cashback be affected if I modify the pickup time?

  • I have an online account with Coles (linked with FLYBUY) for over a year but I have never placed any orders in the past, is my online account eligible for this offer if I use it for the first time Coles online order?

  • Hi @tightarse ,

I just bought around 60 dollars worth of goods from Coles on 23rd Jan and will be picking them up soon. I have just been notified by email 2 hours ago that one of the items is not available and this will reduce my total purchase to below 50. In the email it also says that the order has been finalised.

It seems like I won't be getting the cash rewards bonus from this but in all honesty this definitely looks like a mistake from Coles.

Can you please help - thanks.

    • +2

Hold onto your email from Coles Jcwj. It’s obviously not your fault. If they decline (they hopefully won’t), we’ll go in batting for you :)

      • Thanks for your prompt response. Will hold on to the email. What should I do from here - does it help if I provided my cash rewards username, etc?

        • No need for that. Just ping me if declined.

  • I have one Cash Rewards account and set up a new Coles online account and used this offer once. Can I apply this deal for a second time with the same CR account, and open a new Coles account?

  • Hey Guys is the minimum spend include or exclude GST? it did not say in the Term and conditions

    • They have confirmed that GST is included in the spend.Spend $50 will be qualified.

  • My purchase is not tracked and I lodged a claim. CA says my purchase excluding GST is 49.xx, hence my claim is rejected. Where in the special terms does it say that?
here is the link for the special terms

    • Hi XLBob. Please turn on private messaging and ping me your ticket number. What you state above is not correct and I want to see exactly what you were told. Thanks.

      • I got a response from Cash Reward and everything has been sorted out.

        • Great to hear. Thanks.

  • Went to use this today and it's expired. Should have acted sooner.

  • Just had my cashback claim rejected? It was the first time I used Coles Online and the order was over $50. Anyone else?
