A budget laptop, that reviews well, includes Full HD screen and DVD drive for those few who insist on them.

  • 8th Generation Intel Core i3-8130U Processor (Up to 3.4GHz)
  • 15.6" Full HD (1920 x 1080) widescreen LED-lit Display
  • 6GB RAM
  • 1TB HDD
  • 8X DVD
  • Up to 13.5-hours of battery life
  • Windows 10 Home
  • 1 USB 3.1 Type C
  • 2 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0
  • SD card reader

I think the Dell from vid_ghost is better, but for those who want the absolute cheapest 15" laptop than has Full HD, I think this is it.

a bit heavier but with much greater batter life, report from 1 hour 35 mintes on Dell compare to 8 hours 15 minutes for this seems the outstanding bit.

    Benchmark CPU
    for Dell: 7317
    this Acer: 5060

  • This is a great deal for an office workstation PC

    • A guy at work wanted the cheapest 15" laptop, I talked him into a minimum of a 1080p screen and I think this is the cheapest new notebook I could find.

He just missed out on this one for below $400. I snapped one up for $303 with a double ebay discount.

FHD and thin and light, swapped hhd for Sammy ssd and runs ok for hours on a full charge, like a large netbook but better lol.

Only downside is stuck with 4GB ram as soldered on this model, hence the price for entry level QC Celeron with FHD screen.

  • 6GB Dual Channel Memory

    How ?

    • It isn't, but it can be if you replace the 2GB with a 4GB, poor description on their part and I just copied and pasted that.

  • So what is the max of memory this will take?

    • Dunno, not in description. Checked ACER website, not their either.
