Free 3 Months (Usually 1 Month) Trial to WWE Network

570

Three months access will allow you to watch the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania.

You'll have to sign up using a UK address. I used the Pizza Hut in Manchester.

Subscription can be cancelled at any time.

Note, there is a authorization fee charged (I got charged 1£ when using PayPal to pay). Below is from the WWE website after you've successfully signed up.

If you notice a WWE Network transaction on your bank card, please be aware that your bank may have placed a temporary authorization on your card that may look like a charge. This is not an actual charge and will be reversed within 7 days. It is placed there simply to confirm your billing information - you will only be charged by WWE Network after your free trial is over.

I've downloaded the app, logged in with my details and now watching NXT.

Good call, NXT is really the only good thing left to watch.

    And Chronicle: Ambrose.

    • Mania season (Rumble to WM, some years even Summerslam to WM) is usually when the WWE main shows are at their peak before going back to it's 9 month lull.

  • How hard is it to cancel the trial? I remember UFC did this years ago and it was really hard to cancel and people got charged into a billing period because their customer support took a month to answer queries or people "cancelled" over the phone and then got billed anyway

    • From the email

Cancellation: You are free to cancel your subscription at any time. We will take no further payment from you after the date on which you cancel. If you cancel before the first payment date (which is 14 clear days from the date of your order), access to the WWE Network will stop immediately. If you cancel after the first payment date, access to the WWE Network will continue until the end of the then current subscription period. Please note that, once paid, subscription fees are non-refundable, and therefore no refund or other credit will be provided if you cancel part way through a subscription period (save only in the limited circumstances, if any, expressly set out in the Terms of Use). You may cancel either by calling us on +1 (512) 225 6300 (although please note this is a US number so international call charges may apply), by changing your renewal preferences in the Billing Information section of your WWE Network account, or by completing this cancellation form.

    • Very easy. Just a click of a button in the account settings.

    • It's just a standard cancellation on your account page.

    • It you pay through PayPal you should be able to just cancel the auto renewal as well

easy, I cancel ever so often, it's instant, and they ask why your leaving….I usually put Lesnar as Champ as the reason.

    • I mean, it's not wrong!

Ratings are really bad and not improving for wwe in rumble season so i can see why they are doing this

but…but…McMahon said it's a new era and things will change!

      • Just like Trump's new shutdown America

  • Great! My 3-month for $0.99 has just finished.

  • Anybody know if the classic PPVs are available on there. 1996-2003 era?

    • Yep, every single ppv (with probably a few obscure exceptions) is on there.

      • I've got just about all of them but need a few so should be perfect.. Thanks!

    • Only real problem is ecw and some wcw songs are missing

      • Only real problem is ecw and some wcw songs are missing

Just the songs missing, or did you mean the matches are missing ?

I would be disappointed, but not surprised if the old ECW stuff was excluded. It's not exactly PG type entertainment, but I loved ECW. Crowd could hand wrestler a cheese grater, or road sign, next thing blood pouring out of their forehead. Had me convinced ECW was more real , cos I was like thinking, no way would they fake that and the bleeding wrestler voluntarily let em do that.
I guess it was a testament to their commitment to entertainment. Mick Foley was 1 the greatest on ECW, loved his barbed wire matches. Apparently some matches he would wear several layers of shirts to protect from damage, other matches he wouldn't have anything but 1 singlet and would get cut up alot by barbed wire.
Is all the old ECW missing ?

        • No, just the ccopyrighted songs they don’t want to pay some artists for. Nothing new, has happened on releases in the past.

          • @Gehirn: Hulk Hogan coming out to a butchered rendition of Voodoo Child makes me cry

            • +1

@Cyphar: Didn't know Hulk was a Rogue Traders fan.

        • Yep just songs, like Sandman has a more instrumental version of Enter Sandman

  • thanks OP
hopefully I remember to cancel just after Wrestlemania

Cancel now, it will stay subscribed until 15 April. Under billing it will say this-
You are currently subscribed to WWE Network.
Your subscription will expire on Monday, April 15, 2019.

Three months is plenty of time to be disappointed once again at the current content, watch some old material (Originals section- WWE Beyond the Ring for all the great docos) and get some LOLs from Tough Enough again.

well their system works an awful lot better than the njpw system

        • You mean you don't like subscribing on the 20th of the month and in 10 days you have to resub again?

        • I had SO much trouble unsubbing from NJPW last year, took like 5 months for them to stop taking money. I want to watch Wrestle Kingdom, but I'm not going through that hassle again.

  • But I don't really want to go back after the Saudi stuff.

  • There is an android tv app, for anyone interested.
Will install on my sony android tv .
    Thanks OP.

  • Their replica belts are also 25% off if anyone is interested

Macho Man v Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart v Shawn Michaels, Legion of Doom, Papa Shango , Kamala, Razor Ramon, Crush, British Bulldog, Max Moon, Yoko, Vader, Undertaker, Giant Gonzalez, Big Boss Man, Tatanka, Earthquake, typhoon, Doink…..Far out Man this is going to be so sweeteet!!!!

    Thanks for sharing :)

    • Don't forget 1-2-3 Kid, The Sting, Hulk Hogan, Lex Luger, Diesel. :-)

    • Just watch OSW review for that era, funny as hell and insightful.

  • Is it right that they will want to bill 9.99 pounds already? Or is that the Paypal pre-authorization after 3 months?

    • +1

It doesn't bill you 9.99 but a small amount will be billed for authorisation. I got bill 1 pound but as the OP mentioned, WWE will refund it within 7 days.

    • Yes i too get the same amount in paypal screen. Is it just pre auth ?

      • This is what I saw too? Just pre-auth?

  • Doesn't seem to be working for me. After entering all the details I get a webpage not found error from within their site. Then when I try to subscribe it's only a month free. Anyone else having this issue?

  • I've never been able to take advantage of these offers as someone who used to be a subscriber.
Even with new email addresses I hit a roadblock at the payment screen since they can seemingly detect my Paypal/CC info as being a duplicate, and I get told that I've already taken advantage of the offer.

    • Yeah this is what I'm worried about. Anyone else having the same issues?

  • UK is not an option in the drop down list for Country/Territory. Am I doing something wrong or was it removed?

  • When I log-in to paypal it asks to pay $9 GBP?

  • for once we pay a better price (until they introduce price tiers)
    9.99 pounds is $17.84
local subscription is 10.99 isn't it?

  • For anyone wondering about the 9.99 on PayPal, it will not charge you this. As per above, the Preauth is only 1 pound.

Just cancel it before after 3 months if you don't want to proceed. The next billing is April
