Other than a few random deals via eBay/US, I've never seen a Surface Dock close to this price.
Slightly more expensive than this recent deal, but comes with an Australia plug, available locally etc.

No doubt a better dock, but given the point of dock connection with the Surface is their power connection, you'd probably need at least a separate power connection for the Surface, while connecting the Dell dock via USB or something.

I have a Surface as my work PC - never realised how expensive these docks are! Very easy to use dock though, with the magnetic cable you just throw it somewhere near the power outlet and you are golden.

Yep, but your paying plenty for the convenience - or in my case, work is.
4 USBs, and 2 miniDP. Almost always need extra cables to convert.
Yeah the fact that it is 2 mini displays instead of HDMI is ridiculous. And no usb C? What a joke.
You would have better and cheaper options if only MS didn't use a proprietary power connector on their Surface line.
Hope this is a clearance end of line kind of sale , would love to have a dock with USB-C on it launched to replace this ( not the current USB-C dongle brick that MS is peddling )
