    Amazing tv.

    Picture great,
    Sound great,
    Software decent,
    Wifi speed could be better,
    PS4 4K gaming great

Make sure you check the rtings review and use their recommended settings

  • damn no delivery option

  • Excludes VIC too……..

    • yeah, doesnt make sense why no postage option for Melbourne metro.

Probably too risky to ship there with all the gangs.

  • Whats with the legs/stand ? good TV though….now how to convince wife :)

    • Just asked my friend who has this exact television. Legs not great - can wobble and feels as if it tilts forward, interface slow.

      But otherwise super happy.

    • Be a man. You work hard. Buy the stuff you want.

    • Explain that it will help you develop your new E-sports career.

  • Excludes Brisbane…

  • looks like there were only 2 available?

I purchased this TV a couple of months back. IMHO it's pretty great. I upgraded my Internet connection and Netflix and now watch many shows in 4K UHD.

    Recommended.

    • I picked one up prior to xmas and could not be happier (Except if only I had the AF8 Oled). A fantastic TV which is hard to fault at this great price point!

  • Wow, that’s cheap, I paid more for 65” x9300E when X9000F was out

  • Very good price.
Got mine for $2200 during black friday sales.

I was waiting for this TV to break sub $2000 mark… and it did!, but not lucky enough to get it in VIC :(

    None left now

  • Hanging out for the 75" X9000F to go on sale still but seems to be excluded every time.

Got this for $3,599 from TGG ebay sale back in November. I am still in awe of it every time I turn it on. Would highly recommend waiting it out for the 75" over the 65" (If your room can take it)

      • Going from my 50" sammy to my old mans 65" was just amazing, can't even imagine how cool a 75" must be like 😵😵😵

        • It’s how you use it….🙄

    • Same. I can see from history that they do go down to 3.5-3.7K every so often so just need to be ready to pull the trigger. Maybe the next GG 20% sale in March.

  • The cheapest in store price i got today was $2150. Called Bing Lee and they wont go below $2250. Just ordered one through ebay now. Thank you @sumur1au

  • Sam swings…scores!

If you add a note to the sale, would Bing Lee ship to a store?

  • Dang I bought the 65 nu8000 last week because this was out of my budget. Now it's only $100 difference :(

That's the life of the TV hunting game unfortunately. I didn't need a TV until May but recently pulled the trigger on the 65"LG B8 OLED for 2.7K and now crapping my pants every time I see an OLED deal. Fully expecting to see the C8 down to 2.5K by May now.

      • Best thing is doing your research well beforehand for big time purchases like this. Then have a few models in mind and ideal prices for each then strike when the time is right.

Also factor in seasonal sales and set reminders in your calendar (EOFY, black Friday, boxing day etc.)

        • sometimes even with research you just gotta buy at best price you can at the time.

my tv broke 3weeks before cyber monday, pretty much just ran around looking for best price and got this 65X90F at $2700 with $150 gift card

        • Absolutely. I've been eyeing the LG B8/C8 for months. I figured the next big sale is EOFY but I don't want to wait the extra months for it. Plus the last time there was a big sale for the LG C8 was never matched again almost 6 months later. I'm quietly confident that securing that price of the B8 was the right decision. Just scared of Murphy's law striking.

  • How's x90f compared to x93e?

Reviews I’ve read say that despite the f having direct backlight vs edge on the e, the e actually has better zoning.

F has lower input lag from memory.

  • If you're planning to install kodi just forget it. It won't run with the latest sony tv. https://torrentfreak.com/first-sony-promotes-kodi-then-alleg…

    • I'm not totally up to date with this but I thought it was unintentional and that it was going to be fixed in an update.

It had to do with some filter on installing packages with "ko" which accidentally hit kodi. Or something like that.

      Edit: https://www.androidpolice.com/2019/01/10/whoops-sony-blockin…

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. After looking into the issue further, we’ve discovered a software issue on our end that is incorrectly classifying Kodi as a kernel object (“ko”). We are working on a fix for this issue to include in our next software update.

Went into GG yesterday and saw the 75 inch X85 and was super impressed with it so can imagine how good the X90 would look. Come on GG 20% sale.

  • Man, got excited till I saw NSW only :(

  • Does this tv have the subtitles issue that the 2018 Samsung tv's have where the brightness increases when subtitles are on?
    Can anybody confirm?

  • Figuring out if I should get this or one of the following:

Sony 65" X90F (KD65X9000F) LED 4K Ultra HDR Android TV $1998.40 (this pages one)
Sony 70" X83F LED 4K Ultra HDR Android TV $2298 Delivered @ Sony Australia
    Sony 75" KD75X8500F, 4K LED TV $2796

Can someone in the know let me know which is the best?

Are the more expensive ones only more expensive because of the size and the smaller TV is actually better if size is taken out of it?

I'm interested in using voice to control the TV and I want the Android TV so I can watch NBA games using the NBA app. I'll also be using the TV for the PS4 pro.

Are they all 200hz? Does one have a much better processor or anything like that?

Thanks to anyone who can offer their insight!

  • Samsung 65" UA65NU8000W Series 8 Premium 4K TV $1687

    Or

65" X90F LED 4K Ultra HDR Android TV with Dolby Vision $1997

    Or wait

    • You took too long looks like it’s sold out, need to jump on deals this awesome. Wish it was a month ago when I was still looking..

      • There's 9 still available as of now.
You need to be in the correct shipping area (NSW metro?) to be able to order (change Postcode under "Postage & Shipping" section).

Bing Lee - apparently the only electronics store on eBay who can't work out how to ship a TV interstate.

I am still waiting for a good deal ($3000-ish) on the 75" X90F

  • so it's this or the Hisense 75” 75P7 for the same price….

  • I believe Bing Lee do all their own deliveries, so since they are are NSW based, makes sense they don't deliver outside of the state.

  • It looks like the listing has ended

    • Back again now on a new listing, have updated

      • Doesn't look like the PELECTRO code works on the new listing. It's saying it can't be applied to the order.

        • Hmm that's really weird, it's even advertised in the listing? Maybe it's because they didn't align it with the specified product codes as a new listing, I'll have to expire the deal atm then until they fix it. It might be worth getting on live chat to see if they can help you.

          • @doweyy: You're right, it's definitely still advertised in the listing, not sure if it's just me or not. Have you tried it?

            • +1

@mattsamp: Yeah I just tried putting in a NSW address and it didn't work for either Delivery or C&C, definitely a problem with the code it seems. Live chat might be the best option to get them to help with it.

        • Agreed, PELECTRO code doesn't work on the new listing (and it doesn't work on the 55" X90F model either).

        • They reckon it's out of stock now.

Allegedly the coupon isn't working on the 55" due to a problem on eBay's side.

It is back on again here, and has the electro code in the description.

  • I think I am just gonna go a B8/C8 if it is sub $1.8k.
