    Any iPhone cable?

  • What's the difference between v1 and v2 of the dashcam?

captures excellent footage during the day time.

And is this implying that night time footage is not great? (Or is it that it's better to use 30fps at night?)

    • V1 had issues with the GPS mount that ended up breaking and failing to supply sufficient power to the dashcam - V2 resolved this issue.

The VIOFO is fine for night time recording and there are plenty of samples on YouTube. Both GeekBuying and VIOFO have English as a second language so their English isn't always perfect 😉

  • Hi rep, it says the maximum speed your phone can accept for power delivery, but what actually is the maximum power delivery for the cable? Thanks

      • dont think it is worth it to pay extra 3.85

        Australia Direct Line5-8 Business DaysUS$ 3.85

  • Does it work?

    • Asking the important questions. Yes they do.

  • Anyone else having problems with the payment page?
Trying to use c/card (not paypal) and it says "Unfortunately, your payment was unsuccessful".
Tried multiple times & different cards, same error :(

    • In general you should go through Paypal to get their buyer protection and refunded returns. For currency conversions there is an easy way to set your card to use it's own currency as this guide shows. That way you won't get flogged by Paypal's inflated exchange rate.

      • For some reason Paypal wants me to send a bunch of IDs to prove my identity, which I did, but they wanted more so currently I can't use Paypal :(
And so I'm boycotting them atm :)

        • Gotta love PayPal. I've passed the issue onto Geek.

          • @Clear: awesome, thanks!

            • @needajp: Able to provide an order number? It should show up in your account as unpaid.

Btw my Viofo A119s V2 melted in the Melbourne sun. Probably less than a year old. Buttons melted and warped. Screen corrupted as well and not recording. Fixed it last time with a factory reset but the buttons are stuffed so couldn't do the factory reset. I took it apart and I think I fixed it but haven't tried again

  • Thanks Clear, picked up a few cables. Whilst on GB, decided to buy a USB-PD charger as well, specifically this one https://www.geekbuying.com/item/Tronsmart-USB-PD-Type-C-Char…, are you able to confirm with GB that it'll charge the Pixel 3 nicely (9V/2A) versus whats listed on the webpage (5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/2A)? Cheers

    • hope you're aware that's gonna come with a UK plug?? Can easily swap though as it's just a figure 8 cable… Just an FYI… :)

      • Yep was aware of that and ordered one off eBay :)

  • I got an email saying this is out of stock and they cannot fulfil my order :(

@Clear can you please confirm? The website still says in stock!
