    Not sure. How much is it at Costco? I had a look around and it's hard to find a four blade mower at this price with a decent brand

  sorry out of topic question. how often do we need to change engine oil? i had a mower never changed oil for 2 years! when i check oil level its full

    Leaking isn't the issue, oil degrades and doesn't offer the same lubrication properties.

    I usually change blades and oil once a year at the start of Spring.

    Not this exact model, I have an old Rover with a Briggs and Stratton motor and it starts first go every time.

    Almost want it to die so I could get a mulching one like this.

  Can't go wrong with a Briggs and Stratton motor. Had my Victa Briggs & Stratton mower for 15 years and the motor has never failed me. Oil change once per year. She starts first pull every time.

  New Briggs are not even close to Old Briggs.
  I use a Honda mower, enough said really.

  Thanks for the heads-up rd4575. I bought one this morning. My old Briggs & Stratton is 20 years old and going strong (as opposed to the rest of the mower that is falling apart around it)

  I bought one too… My current one is a Victa 2 blade 140 cc….. 10 years old….Briggs and Stratton…. Motor starts in 2 pulls .. hopefully this new Briggs and Stratton motor is just as good.
