LOL if you click on the link above it will take you to HN website and a pop up says ''Hey Ozbargainer are you looking to talk to someone''

    so nice of hardly normal………….

    • Lol. Never had that pop up before. I wonder if ozbargain and Harvey Norman has some kind of tie up.

      • Probably a script that looks at the referring website - trying to suck up to the ozbargainer because they are rarely a bargain.. haha

      • You probably don't seem it because because you use an ad/cookie blocker :)

    • i've had that for at least a year now…i'd say it's just some click tracking via Google Analytics

  • Nokia 7+ is not on sale and the Nokia 7.1 with Android One is 3GB RAM and 32GB for $424! Hardly Never a bargain, Jerry

Agreed, the link shows they have around 23 Nokia phones. Are any of them actually bargains? Or am I being lured in by a sale sign? Wise people once said; "bargains have prices". Is this saying outdated now?

  • Nokia 6.1 at $320 is reasonable for Australian pricing.

I find Hardly Normal's attention to detail very frustrating.
The "Specifications" for the phone are either wrong, missing or too little detail.
For example: Nokia 5.1 with Android One - Black
"Network Type 3G" I'm assuming it has 4G but it doesn't state it.
It doesn't state the name of the CPU, it only states "Octa-Core 2.0gHz". It is a MediaTek Helio P18 CPU Octa-core 4x2.0 GHz & 4x1.2 GHz.
So it would have you believe that you have 8x2.0gHz which is incorrect.
It states "Connectivity 1x USB 2.0". People want to know if it's a micro or USB-C. In this case it's a micro USB but that is not stated.
It doesn't state the screen resolution, it only states that it's 5.5 inch.
Thanks for making it to the end of my fascinating insight into Hardly Normal's spec sheets, and my almost 10 lines of whinging!!
