Citibank sent me an email tonight (admittedly, thought it was a spoof email initially) with an offer of a $100 digital gift card for a spend during this month of $1500 on my Citibank Rewards Platinum card. I believe others have received a similar offer with a larger spend amount. Could also apply to signature card holders as well? Keep an eye out for the email.

    Most likely platinum card $1500 signature $2500 to get same $100 targeted on card holder that average monthly expense is less than $1500/$2500 respectively.
    Complained to the citi agent and they said "I need to confirm if the promotion is from us…."

    we got the same offer. just wondering if you can use the diners club linked companion card and would that count towards the total spend? you earn 2 points per dollar but their system might not pick it up and may have to fight them like i did for my 100k sign up points. also would paying bills like rates be counted or be excluded as an eligible spend?

      Paying bills looks like a retail spend to earn the digital gift card. You won’t earn points though under your card reward program

        I have the free life signature as well and still got the $1500 for $100 offer. Having said that, I didn't spend a dime on that card last month.

      does insurance and power bills count as eligible spend? i know they have alot of exclusions ie gov, rates etc including if you do bpay.

        Those eligible spend exclusions are for points. Different eligible spend exclusions to this offer

    Also on the free Signature for life (I mainly keep it for the Priority Pass), got $1500 for $100.

    There are ways and means of getting the spend even if you don't have anything to spend it on. ;)

      Yes I’ve got it again as well. Called Citi and notoriously rep said I should’ve only received March promo if I did not meet the eligible spend for Feb.

      I did meet the $1500 spend in Feb. So bizarre.
