Excludes full samsung galaxy s10 range…?

    • LOL I was going to write that!

Geez they are fast, aren't they?

  • +1

    Coupon codes already working

    • not working for me. Logged in as well trying code for TVs.

      • I only tried with 104U. Strange that one works but not the TV one

    • Can't see anything about a gift card. Have they updated the page?

      • Gift card finished yesterday

  • Hisense 55PX Oled is $1700. Not quite as good as $1686 at Appliances Online, though you may prefer a bricks and mortar store.
Comments tend towards people preferring to pay about $1500 for this TV - OzB& Whirlpool

  • That 15% off code should bring the Hisense 55P7 down to about $850. Nice.

Can you use JB Hifi gift cards at the Good Guys?

    • +7

Yes. And Mexican pesos to make up any shortfall.

      • +1

Dang all I have is pacific pesos :/

        • +5

All I've got are these damn Nepalese coins…

    • That was a legit question. TGG is now part off JB.

    • I got excited thinking this as well, but I think the current advertised price of $995 is a special price that ends tonight. Expect to see an increase tomorrow

      • Ooooh I was wrong, still $995. Sounds like a great deal

  • +3

Instead of using 10% off ticketed prices, if the item you're looking for is listed on The Good Guys' ebay.com.au store, you might save more on ebay using "PSAVEIT" coupon code.

  • 10% works for me now

  • $1695 for the 65" Samsung NU8000 seems alright if I can just walk out of the store with it tomorrow.

    • Actually confused about NU8000 vs X90F
Will all the 'nits' reviews make a difference to me from 3m away with a naked eye (especially if I don't have it side by side for comparison in my living room)

      • Yeah, the extra $700-800 just doesn't seem worth it for me. Much rather use that cash on a decent sound bar/sub combo.

      • +4

NU8000 is Vincent Teoh endorsed. Go for it mate.

        • +1

Started watching some of his videos after reading your comment. Very informative, and I'm dying with laughter. Cheers mate.

Hopefully the NU8000 82" is still up tomorrow for $3800 after discount.

          • +1

@Terra Australis: Did you get mesmerized by his thick masculine accent?

            Just checked the 82" NU8000:
            Cost $4,495
            15OFFTV 15% $674.25
            Cash Rewards 2.3% $103.39

            Cost after discount: $3,717.37
Great price! Although I expect a 20% GG offer to come in soon during March.

            • @Hunter14: Pretty much yeah. Ended up going with Harvey for the gift card and ability to use my Amex Domayne gift cards. Effective saving comes to $150 + 150 so total 3520. I agree there probably will be better sales soon but I would like to have it now.

    • How did you get to $1695?

Website shows the price as $2195 and 15% off brings it down to $1865.

      Am I missing a trick?

      • Price got increased overnight.

  • +1

They removed the Samsung q8 and q9 and raised the prices of ps4 consoles wtf..

    • Standard practice for whenever The Greed Guys have a sale.

    • The Good Guys aren't so good anymore… :-)

  • Anyone facing this? I get this for Hisense 55p6 listed for 795
The promotion code you have entered is not available at this time. Please try again later.

  • Ok. Before I get excited can someone please confirm that the current price of the 75 x90f will be a further 15% off?

At ~$3400 I will not be missing out again! I'm hoping I'm not wrong.

    https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/sony-75-inches190cm-uhd-led-l…

    • On another note, same prices as the Sony 75 X90F are the SAMSUNG NU8000, LG SK8000 series, and Panasonic FX780, all $3995 (potentially minus 15%).

Anybody have some solid user input given they're all the same price?

I'm going to pop in today and actually view them to see what I like but a user experience would be useful also.

      Thanks

      • +2

The LG and the Panasonic are IPS panels. i.e. Better viewing angles and horrible black levels (I think they do have local dimming, but I've never heard of good implementation of it on IPS)

The Sony and the Samsung are VA panels, you get the opposite of IPS, Much better contrast (5000-ish vs 1300-ish on IPS) but colours shift if you are not looking straight at it.

For the difference between The Sony and Samsung, Check this link: https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/compare/sony-x900f-vs-samsun…

Bottom line, unless you really really really care about freesync and input lag for gaming, get the Samsung, otherwise definitely get the Sony. (Especially if the 2 are the same price, the Sony is normally a bit more expensive)

        • Got the Sony. Picture quality won over for me. The Samsung equivalent is definitely a lower spec TV. Walked out with it for just over $3200 (I also bought a 43inch) so crunched them a bit more on their prices. 👍

          • @db87: Nice, good work! I think I'll be getting the Sony as well.

I thought you had to wait till 4 though! btw, Did you get free shipping?

            • @Brotality: Yep I think it's definitely at that fine line now as people looking for the LG c8 found out the hard way (and missed out).

I asked the guy on the floor that I was dealing with about it and he said "Nah, we're not that strict on it, we don't have to make you wait until 4."

They wanted $50 to deliver both but I have a perfect means of transport to get it myself so didn't bother. I hounded them for free delivery too as they weren't budging anywhere else but no deal so no biggy.

    • I would say yes. That price is valid to 27th Feb so they wont jack it up. So they will take 15% off that price tonight.

  • +3

Price jacked even on their website. Last night the LG 70" was $1595, this morning it is at $2195. Even with the 15% discount, the price is still $270.75 above what it was yesterday..

    Poor form TGG

    • Yep, UA65NU8000 has gone from $1995 to $2195.
      Totally poor form.

  • Does Officeworks price beat off discount store wide or advertised prices only?

    • +1

Advertised prices only, no coupon codes.

  • Damn!Just bought a Samsung NU8000 last night at $1295.
Called TGG and they do not do price match against themselves so the 30-day price guarantee does not work here.
But they are willing to give me the store credit if I come to the same store between 4-9 pm…

    • YMMV but I just bought the Sony X90F and didn't have to wait for 4pm. They just swipe the managers card and adjust the price, that's all they'll be doing later.

  • Was just about to post LG 65"(164cm) OLED UHD AI Smart TV OLED65B8STB $2545.75 with code

  • Anyone else having trouble with the 15OFFTV code atm? The site accepts it but doesn't apply any discount. If I enter it again it says it's a duplicate. I've tried 2 computer, 2 phones, a different wifi network and two different browsers. The odd thing was it worked at least once earlier today on my phone (didn't finalise the purchase).

edit: Firefox seems to have done the job :)

  • Bought the Hisense 55P6 last week during 10% off eBay ($715). Now has to get a new one and return the old one. It’s $85 cheaper after discount+ cash back + using the $20 concierge credit….

    $795 -$119.25(15 off ) - $18.37 (cashback) - $20(concierge) = $637.38

  • +1

If you have Suncorp insurance you can get 5% off e-gift cards to get a further discount
