Thanks to 10% off ticketed items from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/439643
BES920BSS Breville Dual boiler is on clearance listed at $849 but the code works ($764.10) plus 2% cashback through Cashrewards it comes down to $748.82. Some stores still have stock for pickup - no delivery available.
This seems to be the cheapest it has been since the Boxing Day Sales (when it was $714.60 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/428502). This model has disappeared from many other retailers so could be near the end of its availability.

Great timing to combine this with the Breville Smart Grinder Pro (BGC820BSS) $160.65 (Free C&C) + $9 Delivery @ Bing Lee eBay https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/439706

I know - but I didn't need it back then, sadly! I just thought it was worth posting as there aren't many shops left stocking it so perhaps it is near the end of its time.

      • perhaps it is near the end of its time.

It's still the current model, but Breville are now only selling it in the Duo Pack now (with grinder). As shame, as many people may already have a grinder.

  • Any deal on the grinder by itself?

  • Clearance?

  • It looks like my post was edited to say "plus delivery" but I think it is only click and collect, as per my original information.

I prefer International Dust personally, the standard of office kitchens everywhere.

  • They will probably come out with a new model with a touch display. There's few competitors at this price point, so there's not much need for them to improve the internals. Recommend an extended warranty with this one, as it's got pretty cheap internals compared to a proper coffee machine with a copper boiler. A coffee machine mixes pneumatics / plumbing and electricity and wildly fluctuating temperatures in a single unit, so they do need regular service, and they do fail.

  • My order was processed and money taken out of my account. I have since been told that there is no stock in my state despite what their system indicated online and that a refund will be arranged. Very disappointing… If they have stock in other states, is there any requirement for them to fulfill their accepted orders? I even ordered the grinder off the bing lee sale, so will now have a grinder and no coffee machine.

    • Bugger.

Might be worth contacting Bing Lee by phone and see if you can cancel the order, assuming it hasn't already shipped.

  • You can also use Suncorp Benefits to get 5% off TGG vouchers. This came down to $725.90
