The 170vi price isn't that great, I got 2x metrofi 220vi from LTS for $55 last year.

    • +1

Unfortunately the old style 220vi is not around anymore . Plenty of other great bargains .

    • good to know thanks !

    • iirc, there wasn't much difference between the both. I think one might be louder than the other :S

  • Looking to pick up a remote control but there are so many available..Hoping someone could tell me which remote is the best bang for your bucks? Do these have a 'learning' mode to pick up the frequency of another remote?

    • +2

Harmony one is always a great remote .

      • H.One is good … but the activity based commands are sometimes out of sync and send the wrong command sequences which can be a bit annoying.. BTW. you can learn frequency with it, but most likely you won't need to… Battery is on the weak side but with the rechargeable dock, it's not too bad (1.5-2 days for me without docking). It's 3/5 for my liking.

        • 2 days? That's shite compared to the 880 I had back in the day. Disappointing, but still I'm considering one of these. I guess I can stick it on the dock when I go to bed at night.

    • So, start out modestly…

Take one that'll set you back just $19. ;-)
Programmable & handles up to 4 devices.

(Sell it on eBay if you picked the wrong one.)

    • +6

Honestly, there is practically no difference in usability between the cheapest Harmony and the most expensive one - they all do activity based control, change the channel and turn up/down the volume.

In fact the most expensive Harmony, the 1100, is less usable because it needs two hands to operate!

The rechargable models are a pain in the arse because they need to live in their charger base which needs to be near a power point which is usually not near the couch - pretty pointless having a remote you have to get off to couch to go and get. The battery models usually last several months with needing new batteries.

I'd recommend the Logitech Harmony 525 as the best bang for buck. We have had the older 520 for years and have been very happy with it. It does everything you need in a remote without the fancy extras - honestly why would you need a colour screen on a remote.

      • You took the words right out of my mouth. My 525 is years old and still going strong. I bought a spare for when it gets broken but its still going great, and the spare remains unopened!

I also think that the Harmony One lacks the colored (usually Teletext) buttons at the bottom. I have set these up to control the sound fields on my amp which is very handy use of those extra 4 buttons.

And the 1100i has hardly any direct-access buttons at all!?!

      • I love my 525 but some of the buttons are starting to stick and the colours have worn off the buttons, but I've had it for 3(ish) years and it gets a hell of a lot of use. I would definitely recommend them as well. Should I replace the worn one with the same model or upgrade? Decisions, decisions.

I'm using my backup keyboard after having lost my usb receiver for my wireless Logitech keyboard.
I want to get the K800 keyboard but here it is only $73 in AUD. =(

    • +2

yes but LTS is selling for $95 delivered. Can you get it delivered from NewEgg to Australia for $22 AUD?

      • I wasn't trying to pricematch(although that would be awesome!), I was merely making another comparison between their prices and ours.
And the difference between the RRPs is even crazier.
        $180 vs $100!

        • Each country has a completely different logitech price list , i totally agree that its a massive difference

      • -1

Oh and BTW, if you use shipito with newegg it comes to $88.5 AUD.
And that might not be the cheapest price in the US, just the first link I checked.

        • Shipito will process and ship it to you for $15? I don't think so.

What's the battery life like on these?

        • Yeah, off by $10. $97.

    • Get the K800 form Amazon.com for about AU$72.00 delivered.

      http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Illuminated-Ultrathin-Keyboar…

Might be even cheaper ones if you look further on Amazon.

EDIT: Sorry, that is not the wireless one.

Squeezebox Boom price isn't that great my mate picked up from Fluidtek $118.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/20865

    • Fluidtek was $118 Last year 31/12/2009 (Expired) over $200 now .

    • +4

lol fluidtek owns logitechshop, like literally. logitechshop is their open for whole australia online shop, while fluidtek only for walk ins

    • +3

Yeah and Squeezebox is not new - come on LTS bring us the $118.

      • Hey, I'd be happy if they still had any at $149 delivered - just my luck that I did not check OzB for a few days… =:^(

    • Bring us the $118 :D

  • Need some Harmony + PS3 adapter deals. Must resist buying more M950's.

  • +5

The M950 is a brilliant mouse. Great value at under $60.

    • +2

Note: It's not a gaming mouse though, it's a very luxurious office mouse, the most gaming you can do with it is RTS, due to the off-centred placement of laser on the mouse.

      • +2

Yeah, I could see how it wouldn't be specifically targetted at gamers. But I use mine for CSS and a range of games and find it a really good gaming mouse.

        • +1

Ah, you've gotten used to the laser placement then…
Can't use it for BFBC2, the freaking mousewheel never registers properly for a knife :\
Have to stick to my trusty Razer Copperhead when I go FPS, the mousewheel's dodgey for gaming, but awesome for going through PDFs :p

  • +2

Yay! Have been waiting for this sale specifically for the M950. Thanks!

    • +2

      Welcome

    • Is the M950 the MX Revolution replacement or which one is?

  • Please bring back the g510 + g700 combo for $145! Will definitely be buying at this price.

    Logitech Speaker System Z906 preorder @ $599

Wow, it seems like the successor to the venerable Z-5500 is actually coming!!! :o

[edit] Just had a quick look, not optimistic:

    http://reviews.logitech.com/7061/7929/logitech-speaker-syste…

    • +1

Yes it was announced a while ago, if you want to save your money get the Z-5500.

By the looks of the specs the Z906 aren't much of an improvement.

      • +2

People have ripped into the supposed replacement

  • nothing extraordinary yet :(

  • I'm looking for a Z5500 now. Was out of stock when I looked.

bargaincrypt, will there be more coming in? Can we get a deal? =D

    Cheers.

    • there is a few coming back up . they are there now

      • +2

hmm… thanks for the reply, but they are still $290… been that way for weeks now. I've been waiting for your next deal before I jump on it ;)

I'll keep hanging out for something. Cheers.

  • +3

bought my M950 - still not as good as that crazy Dell deal from way back - think it was around $50 delivered. That one gave me a taste for this mouse

This deal is close enough and a great price for an amazing mouse — thanks LTS!

    • so could that become $50 delivered for now?

  • Ok its time to get a Harmony remote - I don't want the remote to have rechargable lithium ion batteries like the One.

    Which one should it get?

    Budget up to $129.

    • Umm , hard one if you dont like the Lithium on part

    • +1

Bought the 650 last week. Uses 2 standard AA batteries. Has worked well with the 4 devices I programmed it for.

      • +1

        Tah - 650 purchased.

I have enough rechargable AA batteries to sink a battleship here - might as well use a few.

  • +1

Not bad, but thought you'd at least match your eBay prices. Paid $39 for a Harmony 650 there. Why the difference?

    • Specific deals for specific divisions .

      • Went through order process but at very end said Paypal was unable to process order, however have emails from Logictech shop confirming order #Mod:Removed.

Can you have a look to see if all ok. Tnx

        • +1

Please email your enquiry to our sales team i cant actually see from here . and please do not post order numbers or any other personal info in public . i will send an email and make a note as well .

        • I had the same happen to me. However, after receiving confirmation e-Mails from both Logitech Shop and Paypal, I checked my bank account and it is there as a pending transaction. So I think Paypal is just lying to us. :)

      • Ok, but the invoice from the ebay store says "Thank you for shopping with LogitechShop.com.au."

  • +2

@BC - you might want to tell the guys not to spam facebook with each deal individually…bit annoying.

    • +2

I love a bargain and I admire them for trying to get the word out - but filling my facebook page with promo crap almost everyday doesn't build any brand loyalty for me. (even if the deals are good)

      • -2

you can simply turn off updates , or unlike the page .

        • +2

But then I'll probably miss some sales! :D

I don't mind a bit here and there so just suggesting putting all the sales into one post instead of each sale item individually. :)

    • You do not have to use facebook sir , what has that got to do with the price of fish

    • After I clicked the massive 'Million Dollar Sale' banner on the site that sends you to the facebook page, I thought I had to sign up & "Like" you to get the deals.

      • Why didn't you just click the "Specials" link at the top of the page?

    • +9

Well, as much as I too personally hate FB, LTS has had some outstanding deals on OzB, their shipping & service has always been first class, and BC has been helpful & approachable at all times AFAIK, so I tend to cut them some slack on the FB thing! ;)

      • +1

Thankyou . and you are most welcome .

    • @thecrevis - hahaha, I thought I was the only one who thought the space and then the full stop was annoying! I feel your pain! :)

I do appreciate the LTS' prices though.

  • +1

I'm still waiting for the Lapdesk (N550) to get to a decent price… lets do it BC. :)

  • hey mate any chance for a better deal on the MK605??

    • +1

      • cheers mate

      • When is the second rollout happening?

  • another batch of items going up tomorrow?

if so is there any other earbuds w/ mic going up besides the metro fi 170

    • deals will keep comings , G-series combo's to come and much much more .

      • should i wait for a better set of earbuds?

        hints would be appriciated =)

        • I only have list for first batch , but i will check and keep updates

  • How many sets of Keyboard and Speakers do we need?

  • Why don't you sell the MK520 any more?

  • Some good deals, will wait for 2nd batch before i decide what to get.
    Thanks bargaincrypt.

    • Welcome as always.

  • LOGITECH S715I PORTABLE SPEAKER pls!

  • +1

i cant handle this bait advertising anymore, finally bought a z-5500 speaker system!

    • Great speakers .

      • hope so, ive been eyeing them off for a while lol

        • +2

  • +1

and we hold ozbargain ransomed for…..One MILLION DOLLARS!!

  • +5

Bing Lee Gateshead NSW had a bargain bin full of Logitech clearance items on thursday night and they were a lot cheaper than the specials being presented here. Might be worthwile checking your local Bing Lee?
I picked up N700 laptop cooler/speakers $149 reduced to $39! Other specials were of a similar discount.
(saving money is sending me poor!!!)

    • Gateshead, LOL! They've put so much work into calling it 'Bennetts Green' & you've completely demoralised them! ;)

You might as well put the boot right in & call it the 'Dale! :p

      • Glad I didn't make a spelling mistake too! :-(

        • Ok, show me that passport, there'd better be a valid Newy visa stamp on that bro!

Sad day when a Novocastrian doesn't get a Windale joke??? :o

  • cool, the price of squeezebox touch is very geilivable. But no budget at this moment.

  • no g500's in stock? not on the site at all. The only thing i'm really looking for atm =/

  • Does anyone know if the Logitech G330 Gaming Headset worth getting?

  • The Bing Lee $19 delivered deal on Harmony 515 was niiice…….

  • Im eyeing the ultimate ears 700 for $109..

can anyone tell me if thats a good deal or not?

    • +1

They have it on "sale" at the same price every "sale".

I bought a pair last "sale", for the same price. Pretty good for the price.

      • i got one too, now playing the waiting game…

  • Bargaincrypt, thanks for sale. Any chance you can get SB Transporter?

  • +1

got logitech everything now! I spent well over $1000 in the last few months.

  • +2

harmony 650 is cheaper on ebay, from a logitech reseller….

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Logitech-Harmony-650-remote-control-/…

only $6 cheaper, but this is ozbargain afterall….

is it worth paying more money for a newer more spec-y version?

EDIT: actually, if you're planning on getting the PS3 adaptor as well, you can save $10 through that ebay store.

    you're welcome.
