    Got it at similar price last week. Very happy with it so far.

    And, this is a reasonable price. Actually, Apple should drop all the price lower since AUD is very strong at the moment.

    How does this compare with an iPhone 4? If I don't really use the calling/texting, then is this better to get considering the huge price difference?

      then you're better of getting this, keep in mind that iPhone 4 has a 5MP camera, while the ipod touch has 0.7MP.

        I also already have an external GPS so I'm guessing the touch can hook up with that as GPS.

        Thanks, might look into getting one, depends if this is a good cheap price or not. I'm assuming this is 4gen ipod touch?

          i dont think the touch will be able to use your external gps. i have a bluetooth gps but it wont sync with ipod.

          yes 4th gen.

          you also lose the compass that the iphone has, if that means anything.

          the screen has minor viewing angle restriction compared to iphone.

          ipod is a lot lighter than the iphone.
