Just browsing through Centrecom website , I found this and thought its a good deal for all ozbargainers.

Really Cheap for an 15.6 i5 With 1gb Graphics card ,
As I am personally been using Lenovo From the past 4 years approx. I can't complain about the quality Specially compared to HP, Acer ,Dell etc .
Although Those who will be looking to buy this , I would like to tell you Lenovo is very limited in service centres and I had my laptop sent to sydney through dhl and back at all their expense but they dont have any service centre in melbourne..

  Your heading would be much more effective if you mentioned Dedicated graphics.

  Either way this deal seems to be much better considering it uses a 2nd gen Core i5 and its integrated GPU is also faster than the GT310m

      The laptop I linked to uses a Core i5 2410M which is the 2nd generation of the Core i series processors (also known as Sandy Bridge)

    All the S, Y and Z series are Ideapads.

  I think People are not liking it as with the less number of votes ,I suppose
  But I can tell a similar HP laptop with 2nd gen i5 is selling at dick smith for $1199 so definately looks like a bargain to me …

    The hd3000 in 2nd gen sandy bridge provides similar performance to the 310m , however it consumes much less power. So you'd be better of with scrimshaws recommendation.

  I just got this for my olds. The $100 cashback comes as a Visa card with $100 credit, well thats what it said on the website when I submitted it. The laptop is pretty good. The HP G6 seems better but you have to ask yourself if it's $100 better, I know its the same initial purchase price.
