    As others have said, Just apply RainX or similar. I drove home to SW Vic from melb on Feb 12 at about 10PM and had just applied rain x that arvo. Hit a patch of reasonably heavy rain for about the last 40KM and didnt even have to put my wipers on. Its that good.
