  Things i like about the new s10 (Not interesting in s10+ as not needed, besides the battery)

  -Screen & Display
  -OneUI
  -Practical reverse wireless charging

  Of course there are a lot more other great features, however, these two are the reason why lets say i choose this over a M20P.

  Things i do not like about the new s10

  -3400 mAH battery
  -Slow QC (Vivo has 50W HW has 40W in 2018)

  Question - Should i wait for the HW P series in April?

  *S10's battery isn't the smallest, nor slowest QC, but we are talking the 10th anniversary newly introduced Samsung flagship device, i have a little bit more expectation to it..

  *The ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is cool and more secured, but not really much difference in term of everyday usage from a top end optical fingerprint scanner like HWs.

  *Camera upgrade with ultrawide lens, HW had that in 2018..

  *Exynos 9820 Octa (8 nm) chip, so 2017..

  In general, big hype, great marketing, but just like the iphone X, just standard upgrades..

  All of the above is irrelevant to this deal, great deal nonetheless.

  Does this deal qualify for shoppers protection with 28degrees credit card? Seems to me it does as Mobileciti is an Australian retailer, but I am not sure if buying with the discount code via eBay nullifies the cover? Has anyone here ever claimed on shoppers protection having purchased from Mobileciti, say against a better deal at jb hifi within 12 months?

    I haven't used the 28deg PP against other retailers, but the Coles one allows me to price protect against vouchers (technically they just approved the claim without asking further) so I would say just the end price matters.

  Can the ones purchased from mobileciti still get the Samsung care because from what I read it seems only selective sales platforms are accepted and I’m fairly certain eBay wasn’t, but then again they have their own site too so yeah such confused.

      I just called them.

      They said listing says 8th of March so that is when they will start posting phones or emailing customers to say phones are ready for pickup.

      Supposedly they have not received stock from Samsung yet.

      People have already started receiving their phones from Telstra, Samsung and Woolworths from today

  There are accounts that the boxes from mobileciti have been opened and a new seal applied and shrink wrapped. There better be a good explanation for this.

    Looks like a shoddy customisation order. The phones may have been re-flashed then re-sealed/shrink-wrapped. There is no way to take off the original seal so they put it over the old one, that said it should've been stuck on flush with the old seal.

    As an aside, Samsung does not send the new phones to the distributor shrink-wrapped, this is done for stores by request.

      One of the phones I ordered was opened and re-sealed.

      I questioned them about this and they told me Samsung had opened the phone for quality control testing.

      I told them that it is odd Samsung would do that and the actual seal says "Do not open or accept if seal broken"
