    Just want to clarify with those that got it working, do you need to switch your account's region to US? or just the app's region to US?

    I couldn't get it to work with only the app's region as US.

    Remember, GST of 10% on taxable imports less than $1000 is automatically applied on ebay.

    So your cost price is $300 USD and shipping is $20 USD.

    GST = ($300 + $20)*0.1
    = $32 USD

    Total discount amount with coupon = $300 * $0.15 = $45 USD

    SO the total you're paying is $307 USD for the item.

    Does it work on car parts? It said vehicles on eBay motors. Not sure if that's Inc car parts or not. I tried getting car parts and said code can't be applied.

    I can't for the life of me get this to work. I have a US account, US primary address (secondary Aus address), used US codes many times before with no issues, but just keep being told this code doesn't work.

    I've tried switching to PayPal psyment, different addresses, I even tried purchasing a random hat instead of the retractable hose, all to np avail! Not sure what I'm doing wrong..?

    I've double checked in the apps settings, my location is the USA too..

      Is it maybe because I am paying in AUD? Usually I change parent currency to local and use my 28D card, but I can't find this option anywhere in app. I've tried adding new card, paypal, but all keep displaying final price in aud (obviously trying to buy from an Aus store)

            @isthisreallife22: Yeah, tried that- in the end the only thing that worked was making a new burner account (just used the old moving "." trick with gmail addresses) and voila! My US address must be compromised! (which is annoying as I do genuinely use it to buy and send stuff to an address in California that a mate picks up from to bring back to aus)

      I don't think click & collect is an option for eBay US even though seller is in Australia. I've never been able to do it.

    I just created a US account.. keep getting this popping up "currently your account has reached the limit for bidding and buying" even though it says transaction successful, we're processing your payment. (nothing shows up in purchase history)
    I've tried linking paypal account, and credit card, still nothing :(

      I got this too. I had to link and verify a bank account in the paypal site. and then click verify paypal account from the account settings from the ebay web page. Then log out and back into the app and purchase was good.
      Not sure if the log out was required but I got the vacuum.

          Bummer. And you have added a bank account and verified it (with the two small deposit amounts)? Took me a good while to confirm and verify all the paypal and ebay links to paypal but did eventually work.

          I was able to fix that after removing the cached saved payment using the web version of eBay. Then added my paypal account also through the web version. Logged off in the app, log in back again and it worked

          Thank you both for the suggestions, its definitely appreciated.
          I tried un-linking all my payment methods, then re-linking my bank account only. (signing in and out of everything with the change) Still get the same error.
          I think I'm giving up as there's only 10 mins left, and I've wasted my morning at work haha!
