Check your emails. I just got a 10 dollar Amazon voucher. I'm not sure if it's related to another promo although I have recently bout 1 or 2 small items. I have no idea how to post a screenshot. The code is not generic.

      Hear that, eBay?

      • +4

They are to jacked up to hear.

      • +1

I don't even think the ebay reps, if there are any that lurk on this site, will hear……

If a tree falls In the woods and no one is around, did it make a sound?

    • Likewise, very active Amazon Prime user and received a code.

  • $10 off $49 spend

  • -1

Didn't get one. I have prime, but haven't made a purchase in the last 2 mths.

  • Anyway to use the Amazon app but somehow also get Cashrewards? Doubt it but thought Iā€™d ask…

    • -1

Download the Cashrewards App & clickthrough to Amazon - make sure you add the products to cart after clickthrough otherwise it won't track

      • +4

You aren't using the app though.

        • Ah sorry misunderstood the question ;)

          • -1

@urbancartel: I bet it works without the app… try it… nothing to lose.

          • @urbancartel: Why?
            that was literally the question

            • -2

@nikoris: Oh gee sorry for trying to help - forgot that the Cashrewards app opens Amazon via a browser and not the Amazon App & thought from a quick glance to the OP's question that they may not have know there is now a Cashrewards App… I'll make sure I study every question before trying to help someone out, I'd hate to ever make an error (eye roll) Thanks for the neg too champ!

    • cashrewards is 5%, shopback is 6% …

  • I got $10 off app purchase

    • That's right. Here's the tc.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: The promotion is valid for a limited time only. This unique promotional code entitles an existing customer of amazon.com.au who has not previously made a purchase through the Amazon App (Australian Amazon store) to $10.00 off their first purchase of eligible items made on Amazon App (Australian Amazon Store), with a minimum spend of $49 on eligible items. ā€œEligible itemsā€ excludes products sold by third party sellers (including Amazon US and even if fulfilled by Amazon AU), digital purchases such as e-books, subscriptions such as Prime video and Audible, gift cards and postage or delivery rates. Amazon's standard delivery rates and policies apply to any purchase made pursuant to the offer. The unique promotional code can only be redeemed once per customer on eligible items and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. If Amazon considers a customer to be operating multiple accounts, those accounts will, for the purposes of this offer, be treated as one customer. To redeem the offer, enter the unique promotional code you received via email into the relevant field during the checkout process and your discount will be applied (to eligible items only). If you return any item purchased using the promotional code, Amazon AU will only refund the price actually paid for the item (that is, less the value of the unique promotional code) and the promotional code will be invalidated. The promotional code is not transferable and may not be resold. The promotional code will not apply to orders placed with 1-Click. If you violate any terms and conditions of the offer, your use of the promotional code will be invalid, and the discount will not apply. Amazon reserves the right to cancel the offer at any time at its discretion. Amazon.com.auā€™s Conditions of Use and Sale apply. The offer is valid until 11:59PM (AEDT) on 31/03/2019

  • I use my Amazon account a few times a week. I got targeted in this deal.

I have never been targeted by eBay for any deal.

  • +2

I accidentally clicked associated and now it won't go off.

  • +2

Awesome… I got an email promoting palmolive hand wash… :(

    • +9

Maybe they saw your internet history.

      • Lol, in that case solvol would probably be more appropriate.

  • Not sure if this was covered above but I got this. It's for existing customers who haven't used the app before.

    • +8

I'm an existing prime customer who uses the app and still got a code…
      Weird but not complaining

      • Did you buy something from the American Amazon store via the app? That would explain it.

        Otherwise, yeah that's heaps weird..

      • +2

Yeah I've made a few Prime Amazon AU app purchases before and got targeted. Going to guess either the T&C or widespread targeting were a mistake.

    • +3

i didn't get this, have downloaded the app but never used it. Also a prime user.

      hopefully comes a little later

  • Nothing :(

    • Can try this if you like :)

  • On prime but didn't get it

  • +1

got it, use Amazon weekly and am a prime member

  • Nothing for me, reasonably active prime member. Must have just been a random selection of users.

  • Nothing for me.
Prime member. Bought within last few weeks.

  • Aw. Prime, have been using frequently, didn't get.

  • Nothing for me, Prime member who buys items maybe twice weekly or more…

  • Also use Amazon quite often but never used the app so maybe that's why I got the voucher

reply to this after it being used.

    • Nah no good… getting this

The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.

      Thanks though.

    • +3

Thanks, your code works. I just used, cheers.

  • Note for anyone who hasnt read the fine print; code only seems to work for items sold by Amazon AU, I tried to buy something from Amazon US but did not work.

  • I saw the email early morning and I thought $10 off on any app purchase, so I deleted.

  • Thanks, got it!

  • Thanks got it, only have prime video

  • Got the email. Not a prime user and haven't claimed my 1 month of free prime and haven't used the app

  • Very active Prime membership user and did not receive.

  • Got it too; I am a Prime user and make purchases a couple of times a month.

  • I got it, shame about the $49 min spend

    • +3

eBay: 5% off $70 minimum spend (lol

  • Prime user and didn't get anything. if anyone has a code they are not using please let me know. many thanks

    • If you're still looking, you can try this!

  • +2

I was targeted for $0 off

  • Cancelled Prime last week, got the offer today. Thought that was the incentive to re-join or something, but evidently not.

    • why'd you cancel prime? I'm thinking of signing up but I'm on the fence. thinking about it because I've made two Amazon orders this week when the last time I ordered was over a year ago.

      • cant u just pay $5 for the moneth that you use it?

      • +2

It went up to $6.99 a month or something and I didnā€™t realize (missed the memo obviously) and at my request they cancelled it . To be honest, I find it good value and was calling their bluff and lost haha. Next time thereā€™s a deal I want Iā€™ll probably sign back up, but some months thereā€™s nothing and so itā€™s a waste of money..

  • Active Amazon prime user and got it.

  • Finally just got the email. Prime member since November, recently paid the $59 yearly fee and I have parcels arriving a couple times a week, including the Sony TV deal posted just before Xmas, and I got the $10 code.

  • Got the code but couldn't use it on any of my AmazonAU Prime items, anyone know what counts as an eligible item? :(

  • Active…. didn't get it…

    • You could try this!

  • I am a Prime Member and got it

  • Got my $10 voucher, used for the 15% off essential products

  • Active Prime member and didn't get it.

    • Could give this a go, if you like!

  • Same, nothing here for this active prime user. That said I like to use global Amazon more than the local so most of the vouchers I get I can't use for global items.

  • I didn't receive an email but I just found out I have the offer. I was going through 'contact us' about an item I am returning and when I clicked on an order I noticed further down the page I had this:

"Having problems with your promo offer?

Youā€™re eligible for $10 off your first eligible purchase from the Amazon AU App. You will be sent an email with a unique code on 14 March 2019.

To get $10 off your order, check that:
Your order contains at least $49 of items sold and fulfilled by Amazon AU,
Itā€™s the first order youā€™ve ever made on the Amazon App, and
Youā€™ve made the order before 1 April 2019."

I haven't received an email so I will contact them about it since it looks like I should have.

    • Could give this a go!

  • Just got mine now.

  • not received

    • You could give this a try if you like!

  • Any suggestions on Items for $49?

    • Most of what I buy are the cheap specials that get posted and delivered to my door….
      $49,might be a bit tricky

  • didn't received it. :(

    • Have you tried this?

  • Got it today .

  • +1

For anyone who missed out (I personally never received this email), I just contacted live chat and quoted the T's and C's in hippyhippy's comment (including expiry), and said that I'd forgotten to use it in time.

The rep gave me a $10 voucher off any products sold-by and fulfilled by Amazon AU, and though this may not sound like much, as products sold by Amazon AU aren't always the best value, the expiry on it is December 2036, so in that time I'm sure I can find something I 'need' from Amazon AU.

Plus, no minimum order value! :)
