Jakemy JM-P02 DIY Electronics Repair Tool Kit (74 Pieces) $25 + $13 Shipping ($15 Outside of VIC) at PC Case Gear

80

For people who are too cheap to buy iFixit tools which cost 4 times as much, the Jakemy brand is decent enough for those who aren't expecting super reliable tools or expecting the most obscure of security screw bits to be included.

Quick check on Aliexpress shows it's around $36 USD ($50 + GST to import), and $51 + GST from Bangood.

$38 dollars delivered for Victorians, for those outside it's $40. Shipping does kill the deal a bit, but still a bargain compared to importing from overseas.

On sale (normally $39) The Jakemy JM-P02 74 Piece Multi-Function Tool Set features a durable Oxford fabric bag complete with a powerful suction cup, anti-static bracelet, open bar, metal boot bars, ruler, box cutter, plastic boot bar, anti-static tweezers, conversion bar, 60mm extension bar, spring flexible bar and a 95mm alloy aluminium handle with a variety of tips. Perfect for any repair job.

  • how many of the 74 pieces are cable ties ?

    • None. But there are not physically 74 pieces.
E.g. The 3 metal boot bars, with 2 ends are considered 6 tools.
Included are also 4 pieces of the identical plastic boot bars (since they do break).
The tweezers are pretty good quality.
