Love this mouse. Good price too.

    • +2. Agreed. I have two for home and work.

    • What makes this special? Doesn't seem to have many buttons

      • Hmm, well it does have a few buttons, I wouldn't really call it in the league of a gaming mouse but I use it for design work and it has replaced my Apple Mouse because this thing is just so much easier on the wrist ergonomically. There are a few gesture controls that are available but I don't have them set up, a small scroll wheel on the side that people think isn't needed but I hooked it up the volume and it's pretty great. But the biggest relief was definitely on my wrist, that Apple Mouse really did some damage. If you are interested then I say go for it because I haven't seen it this cheap before or spend the extra $~15 and get it from Office Works that way you can dump it back to them if you don't like it.

        • I'm currently using a Logitech which is quite nicely shaped and ergonomic. I was thinking the next Mouse I would want would have more buttons like the g402

  • what is OW?

    • Officeworks I assume. I think OP was suggesting a price match but Officeworks don't price match coupons being used and you also can't price match the original price as Officeworks current have the mouse for $98

      • yea that's what i was thinking..

    • Officeworks (5% price beat guarantee)

      • yea but does officeworks beating the price on discounted ebay price via coupon code?

        • No they don’t as per my experience.

    • Owww Wow!

  • Paid way more for mine. Best mouse.

  • missed out…..

  • rabbit walks into Officeworks to price match an M590 silent mouse, leaves with M720 Triathlon for $50. lol

    • I was quite disappointed with the M720 Triathlon. I bought 3 for work and we use them in several boardrooms, however not only do they not live up to their claimed 24 month battery life (try 24 days if you're lucky), they have a rather measly range (1.5 metres maximum from what I've seen) and even when they're used at shorter distances they continuously and unpredictably drop-out and simply stop sending any inputs to the connected PC. This occurs via both Bluetooth and the Unifying Receiver. Sometimes the issue is resolved by simple disconnect/reconnect but other times it persists for so long we end up falling back on a cheap OEM wireless mouse that works.

      • haven't experienced it? I had it for 5 days now, the connection has been reliable. work, gaming, no issues. I got one of the latest BT modules though, with BT 5.0.

  • God damn it. Why didn’t my alert go off.

  • I know it doesn't help anybody now, but I bought this and this with 10 or 15% off ebay codes.

As someone who used MX Master 1, I find the buttons are much clickier in the 2S. I prefer the original. I only upgraded for the supposedly longer battery life.

  • I've been using MX Master 1 for 3 years
Best mouse I have ever owned.

    Looking for excuses to upgrade.

I really hope Logitech starts making their mouse out of aluminium or something
    so sick of plastics…

    • really hope Logitech starts making their mouse out of aluminium or something

Terrible for cold mornings, when your desk is under the AC vent, when you mouse is near your laptop fan outlet, when your mouse is in the sun.

    • How else will they get you to keep upgrading?

    • +1

I find the buttons very clicky and loud on 2S.

I came from a Master 1 also, and before that MX950.

The MX950 had a glossy finish, which meant that the plastic wouldn't wear away from frequent touching. If you want an example of what happens to plastics that get touched a lot, look at your keyboard. Look at the most frequently used buttons like E and other vowels, Enter, Space, WASD if you're a gamer, backspace, etc. Notice how they've lost their original texture and are now smooth?

That will happen very quickly to the MX Master and 2S. It doesn't have the gloss coating that MX950 had.

The only real upgrade I know of is longer battery life. Everything else is the same as the Master 1.

I don't think you need to upgrade.

      • Can confirm, quite clicky. Probably my only con about it but I don't care how loud it is for the support it gives my wrist.

        • The Master 1 was not near as clicky or loud.
