      Poor Victoria…

    • +1

Are you suggesting the cruise should be in Victoria? Or you don't want to depart from any port unless it's in Victoria?

I’m from Adelaide. Suck it up princess haha

  • Just before school holiday…..

  • Hi the rep, can you please find some deals within school holidays? also do you have any fly - cruise packages? tried to search your website couldn't find.

Dates are about right for a schoolies cruise?

  • Has anyone cruised with these guys before. I don’t know anything about them

    • carnival is a pretty nice cruise line. I have sailed with them twice before

I did a South Pacific cruise on Carnival Spirit last year and had a great time.
Carnival Splendor is reportedly in dry-dock in November so it should be nice and fresh for the cruise to Australia.

Carnival is sort of a USA version of P&O.
Low end of the market but good bang for buck, especially for a 1st cruise.
I found there tends to be a lot of "nickel & diming" (i.e. they spend a lot of time trying to extract money out of you)

      • How so? Interested to hear more

        • Quite a few of the activities on the daily program have small costs attached, more so than other cruises we have been on.

    • Also important to note, the Carnival Splendour is repositioning to be located in Australia now, this cruise is her journey to her new home port. I'd say there might be some special activities on board to mark the occasion

    1 night = 1kg gained

Sometimes it works the other way. Gastro outbreak.

    • +1

not for me.. and that was even splurging out and having two entrees or two deserts every night.. I just walked around the ship a lot and mostly only had two meals a day instead of three.

      • I solely go on cruises for the food so I may be more susceptible :P

    Cheaper on ozcruising.com.au. $1,273.

    • Says onboard credit is $500.

      • +1

You will not get $500 credit for an interior room. It all depends on which room category you choose. Carnival website shows $200 credit for interior stateroom.

  • Leave Australia to tour australia…

  • can not get unlimited drinks package on au carnival cruises
