      I am not sure what the deal with GST is but it seems DX does not charge it. As far as I am aware GST can't be charged in the country and needs to be done by the seller, but I will update once I get my phone.

  Which one is better Sharp S3 or Umidigi F1 Play. Sharp S3 is cheaper.

    Tough choice, F1 Play is a great phone for the price but the S3 is $200 and ticks all the boxes.

    F1 play better:

    Camera (probably)
    Screen (although I have the Aquos S2 and that has an amazing screen)
    Battery
    Android 9

    Aquos S3 better:
    Processor
    Price
    Gcam (probably)
    Android One (not confirmed AFAIK)

      Uh no, S3 has worse Processor. The SD630 is quite old and P60 is more on SD660 level. Yes, it's Mediatek but it's probably the one (or two, along with P70) processor that isn't made of suck.

        My personal experience with Mediatek proceasors is that their Bluetooth implementation sucks and its a lottery if your phone will connect to another device. Not 100% sure its because of the Mediatek chipaet but I believe it is, YMMV

  I have the umidigi One Pro and have had a lot of problems with it. I probably wont ever buy another Umidigi device. Hope this one is good though.

      The camera sometimes heavily lags. You have to change from rear-facing to front facing camera and sometimes from video to photo to get it back to normal.

      Every now and then it shuts down randomly.

      When I use a wireless charger, it has a strange effect on my phone where it thinks I'm touching the screen. It's really weird. If I open up messenger after using a wireless charger it starts typing by itself.

      Sometimes it just doesn't charge.
      Sometimes the battery drains insanely quickly even if I'm not using it.

      Sometimes when I make calls to people the volume automatically goes down so I have to constantly push volume up to counteract it.

      That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

          @aladdin: Sorry for the late reply.
          I had tried factory resetting it after the camera issues but that didn't work. apparently it's a common issue for the phone.
          i haven't tried resetting it since then but I'll give it a shot.

        That's enough reason to stay away from this brand unless they start working on giving updates for their phones. Only specs are good not the user experience which imo is the most important thing.

  Umidigi is a very small company, they might only have a handful of engineers. The Umidigi F1 has has favorable reviews so I wouldn't expect too many issues with the F1 Play given its essentially all the same device.
